The house and host were amazing. Beautifully designed home and the outdoor spaces were delightful to relax and unwind. Lisa was proactive with her communication and very responsive. Location adjacent to Barton Springs Pool was also ideal and the hiking path right next to it was great for our large group to explore without having to drive to. Highly recommended!!

This is the absolute best rental property for a large gathering! Perfect for our group of 10 women but also perfect for families or couples traveling together. It has been said before in other reviews but deserves repeating; Lisa has poured her heart and soul into this space and it shows. Every detail has been thought through to create a warm, welcoming, beautiful and incredibly functional space. The bedrooms are all gorgeous and so comfortable. We used both flex spaces on both levels as bedrooms and they worked perfectly and there was still plenty of common areas for spreading out. We always wanted to be together though, and that was really easy both inside and outside with the wrap around porches on both levels. There is plenty of very comfortable seating for everyone, and every space was exquisitely decorated. It did indeed feel like a tropical escape, peaceful and beautiful with water features, beautiful artwork and furnishings. We made meals in the upper kitchen and it is the best stocked rental property I have seen. We wanted for nothing. Also the location was perfect; an easy short walk to Barton Springs (incredible) as well as several trails, parks, restaurants, etc. We even walked downtown and found it to be a nice stroll and felt safe. I loved everything about this rental, especially Lisa. She is sincerely invested in making sure your stay is everything you hope for. Ours certainly was and I would love to come back in the future. Do not hesitate to rent here!

I hosted my sister’s bachelorette party at this property. The location was perfect, very close to all the bars, restaurants and shops. The host is very informative, kind and thorough. We truly enjoyed our stay here!

This home (and host) will blow your mind!

This gorgeous home is exactly like the photos. Every room and outdoor space is special and the attention to design detail is exquisite. The home was comfortable and spotlessly clean with all the kitchen supplies, extra blankets, and things one might need away from home. We especially appreciated having so many bathrooms, which was super convenient for our large party. It was so convenient to walk over to Barton Springs and the trails around Zilker Park, and we found tons of one of a kind places to eat and shop within minutes by car (also walkable if you're in shape and don't mind the heat!). Our host Lisa stayed in touch with us even before we arrived and sent lots of extra tips and ideas for our visit to Austin. It is obvious that she cares personally about her guests' experience and is happy to go the extra mile. Thank you, Lisa. We hope to be back!

Perfect Spot for a wonderful trip to Austin

Whether you are looking to just relax around you’re VRBO on the lovely decks and read and play games or your looking to go adventuring throughout Austin this location with its proximity to Barton Springs and great food spots like the picnik food trucks is great! The host Lisa was so helpful and offered numerous recommendations of great spots to eat and activities to do and made sure that we had everything we needed for a perfect trip. She was truly a great person to rent from and I cannot recommend her and her property enough! This place is a gem and if you are lucky enough to book this place you definitely won’t regret it!

Awesome for Team Retreat

I gathered my sales team for two days of meetings. There was plenty of common space, both inside and out, where we could meet, as well as enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own private space. The location next to Zilker Park was a plus as well as we could take walks on breaks etc. The property mgt contact was very helpful and easy to work with. I recommend this property without reservation.

Fantastic - could not have been better!

My group of 11 friends absolutely loved staying at the Glass Tree House! The home quickly became an important character in our long story of friendship, and I know we will be talking about it and our time in Austin for many years to come. Lisa thought of every single detail to make our stay both comfortable and memorable, from how beautifully both levels of the home are constructed, appointed, and cared for (she has not missed one detail!) to the super-helpful, conscientious, and friendly way she approaches every interaction, to all of the fantastic information she provides about things to do in the area (there are so many and within walking distance!). Our group takes a yearly trip together - this was our 9th - and we all agreed that we have not stayed in a more beautiful home or worked with a nicer person thus far. If I could give additional stars, I would. Readers of this review, don't hesitate to rent this home! Thank you again Lisa, for all the amazing memories you helped us to create!!

Incredible Stay in Austin - THE BEST LOCATION!

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this property in Austin, Texas. The property was immaculate—very spacious and sparkling clean. The host was outstanding, providing exceptional communication and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I can’t say enough about how great our experience was and how impressed the entire group was with the property. The location may have been the best part of the stay. It was very close to Barton Springs and provided easy access to downtown Austin and all the places we needed to visit. If you’re coming to Austin, do not stay anywhere else. This is one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed at. Highly recommended!

Amazing Property!

We rented the whole house for my sisters girls get-away weekend. The home is absolutely fantastic. It is so close to dining and restaurants, yet nestled in a lovely neighborhood, you feel like you’re “away” from all of the hustle and bustle. Additionally, the home is across the street from a wonderful park. Lisa, the owner of the property, is probably one of the most fantastic homeowners I have ever rented from. She is super sweet and super responsive. She accommodated every request I had and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic. This was such a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back!

Girls long weekend - AMAZING

I rented both units and it was FANTASTIC. The space was perfect for a big group, adorably decorated, with beautiful outdoor spaces, lots of natural light, well equipped and comfy beds. Every one of my guests was so impressed by the home. It was also very clean and it the BEST location - close to everything! I could not have found a better location for my birthday weekend. Lisa was also super helpful and responsive.

60th Birthday Weekend

We rented both levels of this house (separate entrances) for a birthday weekend with 6 couples. The place feels like a treehouse, with big deck and patio, lovely water feature, and Zilker Park across the road. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked, and Lisa has done a beautiful job of decorating and creating communal spaces.

Highly recommend this VRBO for family/friends groups of various ages.

With a group gathering for F1 consisting of 3 families with various ages and combinations of couples and singles we needed the flexibility of lots of room/bed combinations. This place provided! Additionally, there were plenty of bathrooms, tableware, seating for everyone. The patio/porches on both upper and lower levels were beautiful, tranquil places to hang out. The extra decorating touches throughout both levels made the place extra special. The host accommodated our varied arrival times by allowing us to check in early and check out late!

Beautiful and Clean!

Lisa was a wonderful host and available for all the questions we had before and during our stay! Our 15 person multi-generational family reunion loved staying at the property having two separate units to disperse. We loved the location and utilized the kitchens every night for dinner! Would love to stay here again!
