We rented this house for Father’s Day weekend. It was perfect for my elderly parents, our adult kids and us. It’s SO close to Barton Springs. The house itself is really special. The finishes are unique and high quality. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces. There were many different conversational areas. We also enjoyed the large dining table for meals and board games. It feels like a relaxing escape even though it’s so close to the hustle and bustle of restaurants and bars. We loved everything about it. Lisa is a great communicator. We felt like we had a personal concierge.

Great Location For Zilker

We stayed in Austin for Memorial Day weekend in 2025. The property is very clean and everything was in working order. The beds were comfortable and the deck around the house is a great place to hang out. The house is not a large one and the third bedroom is more of a couch area than we thought it was going to be. Also, the pictures online are not visible from the house. Go for comfort and cleanliness but don't expect a view. The owner was very very accommodating and I would stay here again.

Family Getaway

The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful and tranquil this house was. It had all the amenities listed/shown and so many more. The location was also very central. We were three generations visiting Austin for the first time and had a great experience. The walking trails were right outside, as mentioned. The kayaking experience through Barton Springs is truly unique and unforgettable.Lisa (host) was completely accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and felt welcome.

Beautiful Austin getaway

We had a great time staying in Lisa’s home! The location really can’t be beat, and the house has so many areas for relaxing and hanging out. Our toddlers loved running around the deck and the many parks nearby. The host is an excellent communicator and always responded promptly to our needs.

Great Location

The property was in a great location with a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The Barton Springs pool is a short walk across the street to get to the south entrance. We also walked to the kayak and SUP rentals for a fun excursion. The property was very clean and the decor is unique and attractive. There is a lot of porch space for outdoor relaxing and conversation. We also arranged for a Sound Healing session in the home, which was a great experience. Overall, we had a great family vacation with kids and grandkids.

Nice landing spot with cute style

This is a cute place to stay and convenient to walking paths and many funky austin hot spots! Communication with landlord is easy and Lisa offers lots of tips, recomondations, and check ins. The style decor is very clever and aesthetic. There are plenty of sleep spaces, and all are good for those who like firm mattresses. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and drinks - bring your own shower and hair wash supplies.

Perfect family getaway

We stayed over new years with elderly parents and also 1yo baby and this place really felt like home away from home. Very good vibes, nicely decorated, fully equipped. The best part is the location as you are right on the park and just about 5 minute walk from the natural spring pool. The communication with the host was spotless and she went the extra mile to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommended

A Magical Christmas Getaway – Perfect in Every Way!

Our stay near Zilker Park was nothing short of magical. It was the perfect setting for both sides of our family to come together, cook, and celebrate the holiday season. The home itself was absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and stocked with everything we needed to make Christmas truly special.We couldn’t have asked for a better location! We were just steps away from the Trail of Lights in Zilker Park, which made for enchanting evening strolls. We also enjoyed family walks down the trails around Lake Austin, taking in the stunning scenery and fresh air. Plus, being so close to South Congress was a dream—we managed to squeeze in some last-minute holiday shopping with ease!One of the highlights of our trip was hopping on Bird scooters and riding to Uchiba for an incredible dinner. It was such a fun and unique way to explore the city and capped off an already amazing day.This home provided the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories, and we are already talking about returning for future family gatherings. We can’t recommend it highly enough—absolutely a 5-star experience!

Lisa provided very detailed documents suggesting activities and restaurants around her home that were a great resource. This property also has a great location that allowed us to walk across the street to walking trails as well as drive only a few minutes to spend the day in central Austin.

Location, location and a great house

Property was as listed and no surprises. Great for entertaining or just lounging around. Very close to Barton Springs and Zilker Park (walking distance) and close to most everything else Austin has to offer. Ample parking, supplies, beach towels, and well-appointed kitchen and grill. The family had a great time and will stay there again if the opportunity presents itself.

Girls Trip Getaway

This cute home was the perfect place for a girls trip! Close to everything! The beautiful Barton Springs swimming hole is just down the hill. The beautifully decorated and welcoming porch and water feature provided a peaceful location for a glass of wine and crackers before going out on the town. The kitchen is well equipped! Beds are comfortable! Lisa was so easy to work with! We had a lovely time!

Fantastic stay! Long weekend trip to attend Austin’s Food and Wine fest. This location was perfect! We walked to breakfast and around town most days and it was a short Uber to everywhere else we visited. Highly recommend! Lisa was attentive and incredibly responsive for all of our needs.

Beautiful home great location.

The home was perfect, so nicely decorated with a beautiful outdoor deck, plenty of space, very clean, and had everything we needed and more. The location could not have been better. We walked almost everywhere, downtown, restaurants, grocery stores, parks and Barton springs. Lisa, our host, was wonderful. She provided so much information about everything in the area with recommendations and maps. She was always available to answer any question if needed. The check in and check out was simple and easy. I would highly recommend this home and hope to come back and visit soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
