Our stay was fantastic, very central location in a nice area. We were able to walk to the Moody Center from here also which was great. The host was also very kind and even gave us some great local dining spots to visit.

The Pecan House is a hidden treasure

The Pecan House is nestled in a quiet area with a lovely garden and outdoor space. It’s truly relaxing. The house is so comfortable. Every detail was thought of to make our stay perfect. This is a perfect getaway spot. The home owners are so nice to deal with. You will not ne disappointed in this spot.

Perfection

This place was perfect. Great location, private and safe parking, cute apartment, comfortable bed. It’s just right for one person or a couple. Incredibly helpful info all over — have a question about something? There’s an info card right there. And the owners are wonderful, friendly people who are present and helpful. This is now my Numero Uno place to stay in Austin. I would change my dates of travel just to make sure it’s available!!

Perfect Austin Bungalow

Lovely apartment and setting in our old neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen with Lenny of coffee. Loved the decor and super comfy bed. Garden was beautiful.

Wonderful carriage house

First time using VRBO, but the whole process was very easy to use. We had a wonderful stay and will come again. Location was great, close to everything. Cozy, comfortable and supplied with everything we could possibly think of. Absolutely loved the carriage house.

Great property and host!

The property was impeccably done, with small signs containing clear information and helpful tips throughout. The location was close enough to things to make it convenient but not so close to the action that it was loud or unsafe. A/C had no problem keeping up with the 104 degree heat outside. Andrew was very attentive and helpful as well. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in Austin.

In town to see daughter and new grandchild and property was well suited for us. Perfectly clean, well furnished, lots of technology. Bathroom is a bit cozy but otherwise a perfect place for us.

Very comfortable and accommodating

The property was great and in a great location. Close to the stadium and campus but far enough from downtown for peace and quiet. The host provided everything that you could ask for and so much more. We will definitely be back.

Nice little gem in ATX

We were pleasantly surprised by this little place! Super clean, really well thought out, great communication, and all kinds of cool gadgets to keep you entertained and comfortable! We highly recommend a stay here, and will most likely be back on a future visit to Austin.

Great location

Pros: convenient location, super cute, owners communicated promptly, lots of technology, adorable cats at main home though they didn’t visit me, washer & dryer in location is super convenient as well, most of the technology remotes were dumbed down enough for me to use and enjoy. Parking was available on site and on street. Cons: I asked specifically if I could park a 12’ moving truck on the premises. This wasn’t possible without causing damage. Normal cars yes, what I had no. Miscommunication between owner & myself on this soured me after 4 days of hard driving to move my son to Austin. Height of everything, this was renovated by tall men for tall men. 5’0” forget being able to see anything or reach anything without a step stool, not provided. The inconvenience of not being able to park close to the unit & having to walk so far with my bags and a pending knee surgery meant that I was displeased & distressed until my husband flew in the next day to assist. After that, this property was comfortable and worth the stay. I won’t stay again unless I fly in and rent a normal automobile. Owners did offer to make some accommodation or cancel my stay but it was too late for me to try to find anything else. They did their best & the property is well worth the stay for anyone else.

Perfect way to start the New Year

My husband and I came to Austin to celebrate the New Year with our son and family. With COVID still around ,we wanted an outdoor area to spend time together. Pecan Tree House ATX has a great private outdoor space where we exchanged gifts and had dinner. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make and serve our meal ! There were many wonderful “extras” in the apartment from Alexa to the heated toilet seat😊 Everything was spotlessly clean and Andrew, our host, was in touch with us throughout our stay. We will definitely stay again when we come to Austin! Thank you Andrew!

Pecan Tree House-Wonderful Visit

I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was charming, very clean, in a perfect location, and equipped with everything I could possibly need, plus more. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care have gone into the furnishing and upkeep of this property. I would love to stay here again on future visits to Austin.

Sweet spot: location, price, quality

It's pretty cool and as someone visiting Austin after living there for 12 years, it reminds me a lot of previous unique living situations I loved. They clearly put effort into making sure it's well stocked and clearly thought about all the miscellaneous travel details one easily forgets. The four or five interactions I had with Andrew were very friendly and genuine. Clean, convenient, cute and priced appropriately for a solo traveler or a couple. It's location is great for just about anything you're pursuing in town. If you rent an electric car, take them up on the offer to use the charger; Austin isn't actually great with it's charger quantity and locations if you're enjoying downtown.

Pecan Tree House

Our only issues were an odd odor when we first checked in which could have been cleaning products? it went away after using the fans and a scented candle. The toilet was a little on the small side other than that everything else was just as advertised. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Austin again. Communication with host was excellent as well.

Fantastic Time at the Pecan Treehouse

We absolutely loved our time at this rental. Everything was so clean and organized. There were card printouts explaining what everything was and how it functioned around the house. That made for a very easy stay. The house was spotless clean, and we felt very safe while staying here. Definitely recommend to all!
