Great house and property for a large family. We gathered here for Thanksgiving with seven adults and had plenty of room. The trails were nice to walk as well. Only 30 min from downtown Austin.

5/5 – Luxury, Relaxation, and Entertainment All in One!

Wow—this rental completely blew us away! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The highlight? That incredible infinity pool. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. We spent hours just relaxing poolside, feeling like we were in our own private resort. The perfect place to spend a private 35 year Wedding Anniversary!Inside, the home was immaculate and beautifully designed with high-end touches throughout. The theater room was a game-changer—comfy sectional couch , a huge screen, and surround sound that made every movie night feel like a true cinematic experience. It was the perfect way to wind down after a day of swimming and exploring. There is even a pool table and full size Arcade game.The bedrooms were spacious and serene, the kitchen was state of the art and every space in the house was thoughtfully laid out to maximize both comfort and luxury. Whether we were cooking a meal, watching a movie , or sipping drinks by the pool, everything felt effortless.The host was also fantastic—quick to respond, super helpful, and truly made us feel welcome. You can tell they take great pride in making this home an exceptional experience for their guests.If you’re looking for a place that combines five-star amenities with the comfort of home, look no further. We didn’t want to leave . Highly, highly recommend!

Stunning retreat

I spent a week at this stunning property with my five person leadership team. The house is gorgeous, huge, stocked with essentials and amenities including the incredible pool, hot tub, rec room, movie room, outdoor fireplaces and seating/dining areas, and a gorgeous kitchen. We were a group of five women who each had plenty of personal space as well as our own bathrooms, we cooked most meals at the house and did some grilling, and wanted for nothing in terms of kitchenware. We spent our workdays in the beautiful great room and had plenty of options for individual working spaces. The property manager was outstanding, responding in minutes to any questions and helpful for anything we needed. The best part was that my boss was thrilled with the house and we're already brainstorming a return trip, so I look like a hero for picking the perfect place. Ten stars and I will be back, highly recommend this property for groups, families, work retreats or a local getaway when you need some space and relaxation. We had a fantastic time!

Beautiful home and wonderful views

Every room had a great view. The pool and hot tub were great for the kids. Open concept allowed space for big family gatherings and game nights. Kurt was very responsive and helpful. The backyard has great trails for exploring down to the creek in the back of the property. It was very peaceful and the butterflies and birds were awesome to watch.

Texas Hill Country Retreat

Our family of 8 adults and 7 children (ages 4-14) spent the 4th of July making new family memories. The location was perfect and the house easily accommodated all of us - having an elevator was a bonus for two challenged with stairs. The pool was beautiful and was enjoyed by all. A 7 year old granddaughter said she “loved she could do a cannonball!” Everything one needed was provided. In fact, my son-in-law made the point to tell me that the kitchen was “the best equipped he had ever encountered in a rental”. A high-end kitchen made meal prep easy for the crowd. The chickens and gathering eggs made the visit extra special for the kids. Kurt was easy to work with and always available, if needed. Since this is Texas a visit in the fall or winter might have given us more of an outdoor experience but for our visit the pool and a chance to spend quality time together sharing, eating, and playing games was perfect. Even fireworks could be seen across the horizon. Thanks Kurt for providing the perfect location.

Magical!

What a treat it was to stay here! We had a group of nine adults and this house had plenty of space for us to spread out as well as several communal areas for gathering together. The house was clean, the kitchen had plenty of supplies, the views were breathtaking, and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Kurt took it to the next level by walking us through the house, showing us how to use the technology, giving us activity recommendations, and responding quickly over the phone to any questions that came up. He also connected us with a wonderful local driver, which was really helpful because the house is pretty remote. 10/10, would absolutely stay here again.

Fabulous in every way!

The week we spent at this amazing house was fabulous in every way. You will not find a more beautiful home than this one! It had every amenity we could possibly need. The pool and hottub are fabulous and look out over a spectacular hill country view. We had 4 couples comfortably staying in their own bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Kurt (the owner) was so accommodating and stayed in touch with us all week to answer questions and ensure we had everything we needed. He also made great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the local area (easy drives to Dripping Springs and Austin). I highly recommend the easy hike to Hamilton Pool Preserve (make reservations in advance). The added bonus is that Kurt has a few beautiful chickens on his 30 acre estate, who laid fresh eggs for us everyday. This was the highlight of the trip for my 18 yr old daughter who insisted on visiting the chickens regularly! We will be back to this home for future vacations!

Great family reunion getaway. Host went to extra lengths to secure a ping-pong table for us so our tournaments could go on and on. There were 9 of us and our dog. Great gathering spaces.

Amazing Hill Country Mansion with Views!

We stayed here with our kids while getting the family together for Christmas in Dripping Springs and the house was amazing! You walk in through a beautiful courtyard area and the main floor has the kitchen/living/dining open area, outdoor patio, and 3 bedrooms total (1 being the master suite). The lower floor has a bedroom, theatre room, hang out area, and you walk out into the pool and yard area. There is one additional master suite type room up on the third floor. There is certainly no lack of space for a family and everything was immaculate! The Hot Tub worked perfectly as a “Winter Pool” and the house as a whole was everything we could have asked for as a place to land over the holidays! Our kids are still talking about the hidden pantry as well as the chickens on the property that they could collect eggs from! Kurt, the owner, is so welcoming and friendly, and truly wants guests to enjoy the home as if it were theirs. We give this place 5 stars and will be back again!

Hill Country Gem

Wonderful family retreat. Start the day with coffee on the porch overlooking a beautiful sunrise vista. Daytime filled with family activities and relaxation. Evenings draw you in with beautiful sunsets. Each day is your own to enjoy.
