This spacious, well-furnished home excelled in hospitality. The kitchen provided all needed tools and utensils we needed -- plus! Plus thoughtfully provided containers for leftovers (including plastic sealable bags), a real help as we cooked most of our meal there and had plenty of leftovers for lunches and snacks. Three refrigerators guaranteed that we never ran out of space. Comfy beds all around, too. Many thanks to Matt and crew for their hospitality.

Our family of 15 people from three states gathered at Matt's lovely home for five days to celebrate Thanksgiving together. We used all of the bedrooms, so there were plenty of beds (thanks to the bunk beds), and the four bathrooms were enough. Preparing 14 meals required a lot of planning. We placed an HEB curbside pick-up order in Cedar Park and purchased quite a few items at Brookshire Bros in Lago Vista. I confirmed with Matt ahead of time which items were and were not available, and I brought many of my own cooking and baking items from home. The double wall ovens and two additional refrigerators in the garage were essential. We used the china and glass dishes for most meals. There was enough seating by bringing extra chairs from a bedroom and by using the bar stools.We weren't outside much, due to the weather. There are many, many stairs both inside and to go outside down to the back yard. We were glad we brought lots of indoor activities (arts & crafts, games, etc.).The home was sparkling clean, and Matt communicated quickly. Our family made a lot of priceless memories.Thank you to Matt for sharing his beautiful home.

Annual Friends Reunion

Our entire group of 14 adults and two kids felt like we were all at home in this lovely home. The space gave everyone the privacy to recharge and relax while the common areas were cozy yet spacing for all to gather around for games. Our 2 days down at the dock amd in the lake were so memorable. We're so blessed to have found thia home available. The owners are very friendly and we are so appreciative of their efforts and generosity!

Very memorable experience

We were extremely happy and satisfied with our stay. Everything was just perfect! The highlight of our visit was definitely spending a day at the dock. We had an amazing time kayaking and swimming, and the fun didn’t stop there. We spent hours singing and bonding, creating unforgettable memories. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the facilities were top-notch, making our experience even more enjoyable. Tremendous lake house

We had a large group of 15 including some children and the house was large and spacious enough for all of us and then some! The downstairs game room and attached bunk room was the perfect hangout spot and the double level back porch was so much fun in the evenings. The kitchen was recently remodeled and was more than we needed to feed the group. Matt was in touch it me the whole time and made check in and out a breeze. The boat dock was a bit of a walk but that's no one's fault. The lake is just low. Overall 5/5 stars for Matt and his lake house. Would highly recommend!

Spring Break 2023

The house was perfect for my family. We had a great time and the house had everything we needed. The owner was there with any questions at any time. I would recommend this house to families looking to create memories. The highlight for my family was feeding the deer every night.

Best time ever!!

The house hosted us for a mini family reunion of 13 adults and one child. Such a beautiful home and property with an amazing view! The home had everything we needed and much more, and so many thoughtful touches throughout. Annual family vacation

This was our second time to stay at this Lago Vista home. The weather was cold and rainy during our stay and the size and layout perfectly accommodated indoor activities for grandparents, adult children and grandkids. The home has many amenities and is clean and well maintained. The property manager is great to work with. We love this beautiful home and will stay there again.

Gigantic House in a Great Location

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We had a pretty big group of family and friends stay with us for my husbands birthday and never felt like the house was crowded. Matt was awesome providing lots of information and suggestions about the house and the surrounding area. The swimming cove is great and sits back from the main part of the lake. The house is well appointed with pretty much everything you need. Highly recommend for a large group.

Amazing Home and Lake Views

Amazing house, just a perfect home for large families to gather. We had 2 nieces ages 8 & 9 and our grandson age 12, plus several adults join us on this family trip. We all had so much fun playing ping pong, and so many more fun activities to mention in the huge game room. The spacious master bedroom overlooks the lake, which was simply amazing!! The layout + use of space with couches, tables and chairs (inside and out) provided more than enough space for everyone in our group. Kids and family had a hard time picking a bed to sleep on from the abundant amount of beds available to sleep a village😅, all mattresses were very comfy. Upon checking in the AC was left at a wonderful temperature plus there were so many fans throughout the house left on, which was very appreciated with this Texas heat. We barbecued, we cooked in the kitchen, and spent the majority of our time enjoying the cove, boat dock along with our Boat and jet skis with no issues putting them in the water at the near-by ramp. We were able to keep the trailers at the house (side driveway) along with 5 additional cars without needing to use the garages. Matt is such an amazing host, he provided us with so much information in advance and was easy to contact during our stay. We loved feeding the deer each evening!! All in all, a fantastic location, incredible cove + views. This beautiful home on the lake provided a lifetime wonderful memories. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you again Matt.. God Bless

Great place for a family Thanksgiving!

There were so many nice touches to this place that it is hard to list them all. But top of the list is the kitchen, which had so much to offer we were able to make a full Thanksgiving meal for 14 without any problems. The dock and lake were great - went kayaking and even swimming in the cove! We loved watching the deer. The owner Matt was incredibly responsive to our questions. We definitely would come back!

This is a nice place!

This property is very nice. The listing does a very good job of representing the property. There was plenty of room and each room was well equipped (nice beds, fans, TVs, linens, etc.). We had everything we needed in the kitchen as well. The neighborhood was very quiet and we found the entire weekend very relaxing. The lake was rather low when we were there, so there were quite a few steps down to the dock. Matt was a very helpful responsive host.
