"A lovely lodge hotel in a beautiful setting. Plentiful parking and spacious rooms. Nice lounge and snooker room to relax if you didn’t want to stay in your room. If arriving by night, it’s hard to spot the hotel sign at the side of the road so it’s easy to drive straight past. The hotel restaurant serves nicely presented and beautifully cooked local produce. The menu is a little limited and pricey but the staff were friendly."

"Mala experiencia. Como llegamos a las 20h ya no había recepción. Fuimos incapaces de cerrar la puerta porque parece que el pestillo tenía un mecanismo difícil. El aparcamiento es limitado y llegando tarde, hay que aparcar como se pueda. La cama era incómoda, había pelos en la bañera y el hotel en general más que antiguo y con carácter que es lo que se espera de un lodge ,parece viejo y sucio. No quisimos quedarnos al desayuno. Cuando por la mañana le comentamos el tema del pestillo que no...

"Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once."

"This property was our favorite one on the trip. The beach was so close and the rooms nice and large. Having two bathrooms suited us perfectly and having a wash basin in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Parking was right in front of the door. The kitchen even had sugar and some other items that we did not have to get. The traditional style was very homey. I would stay here again if in this area on a return visit."
