Wee Buoy | Cozy PEI Cottage, 5-Minute Walk to the Beach

Meet Wee Buoy — a little South Shore escape made for slow mornings, salty air and getting away from the noise.

Tucked along Prince Edward Island’s beautiful South Shore and approximately a five-minute walk from the beach, Wee Buoy is the kind of place you come to when you want to actually switch off for a while.

This cozy one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage is small, simple and intentionally easy. Inside you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable Island getaway, including a full kitchen, Wi-Fi and laundry.

But outside is where Wee Buoy really comes to life.

Start your morning with coffee on the spacious deck. Spend the afternoon exploring PEI or wander down to the shoreline, where you can take in the coastal scenery and look out toward the Confederation Bridge.

Then come home, light the fire pit and let the evening slow right down.

There’s a large yard, plenty of outdoor space and that easy PEI feeling that somehow makes you forget what day it is.

Wee Buoy is perfect for couples, friends, solo travellers or a small family looking for a peaceful Island home base. A pack-and-play and high chair are available for guests travelling with little ones.

And one thing you won’t find here?

A television.

That’s intentional.

Wee Buoy is about beach walks, long conversations, slow mornings, evenings around the fire and taking a break from everything you came here to get away from.

Welcome to Wee Buoy. We want you to settle in, enjoy the Island and make yourself at home. A few simple rules help us keep the cottage beautiful for everyone who comes after you.

Maximum occupancy: 2 guests. Up to 4 on request

Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight at the property.

Check-in: 4:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM

Please respect these times unless another arrangement has been confirmed with Nine02 in advance. We need enough time between guests to properly clean, inspect and prepare the cottage.

No smoking or vaping indoors.
Smoking and vaping are permitted outside only. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly — never in the yard, fire pit or landscaping.

No parties or events.
Wee Buoy is designed for a peaceful Island getaway, not large gatherings.

Please respect our neighbours.
Keep outdoor noise reasonable, particularly between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

Pets are welcome.
Please keep pets under control while outside, clean up after them. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. Please do not leave pets unattended for extended periods if they are likely to bark or become distressed. There is a $250 fine if we have to clean up dog poop.

Fire pit.
Use the fire pit responsibly and only when conditions allow. Never leave a fire unattended and make sure it is fully extinguished before heading inside or leaving the property. Any provincial fire restrictions or burn bans must be followed. Firewood is not supplied and must be purchased from a local stand/business and never taken from the woods.

Please take care of Wee Buoy.
Accidents happen. If something is broken, damaged or not working properly, please let Nine02 know as soon as possible. Early communication gives us the best chance to fix the problem quickly.

Garbage and recycling.
Please follow the sorting instructions provided at the cottage. PEI has specific waste separation requirements, so please use the clearly marked bins. There is a $200 fee if garbage needs to be sorted or if no bags have been used when placing in large bins.


No unauthorized fires or open flames outside of the designated fire pit.

Fireworks are strictly prohibited.

Before leaving, please:

Place garbage, recycling and compost in the appropriate bins outside.
Wash any dishes you’ve used.
Make sure the fire pit is completely extinguished.
Close and lock windows and doors.
Turn off lights.
Leave the beds unmade
Double-check for personal belongings.
Lock the cottage when you leave.

You are on vacation. We do not expect you to clean the cottage before leaving.

That’s our job.

We just ask that you leave Wee Buoy reasonably tidy and help us with the basics above.

And most importantly:

Enjoy it.

Walk to the beach. Sit outside longer than you planned. Have coffee on the deck. Watch the sun go down. That’s what Wee Buoy is here for.
