"We ( two families with 2 children under 6 each) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. Host was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach if we needed anything."

"After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"

"Patrick is a fantastic host. he was so accommodating. He even facilitated our early check-in as well. Clear instructions were provided to the home, use of utilities, the management of the bins and everything else. The house was in a mint condition. Netflix, Toys, cable TV were all available for kids' entertainment as well. Wifi with good quality available. The house is much better in reality compared to the images on the website. Amanda und ihre Familie sind freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die alles tun, damit ihre Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen und wie zuhause gefühlt. "From the time we booked through our entire stay we were taken care of by Liz who made our stay awesome. The house was great in the rural setting we were looking for with a restaurant/pub just down the driveway. If we had any questions she responded quickly and helped us. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the historic building. We left after a month and said good bye to a new friend. Blessed!"

"We stayed at the Aughris House and Annex on our recent trip to Ireland. Both are wonderful units in a beautiful and idyllic setting with excellent access to hiking trails, restaurants, and a variety of local sites. The units were clean and fully equipped and Sheila made the check in extremely easy and responded quickly to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Aughris House and Annex to others!"
