Award Winning Beach House - 100m from Beach

Winner of the Book a Bach 2022 Bach of the Year Award. Architect’s own beach house is located 100m back from stunning 4km long Omaha Beach. It is 40m from tennis courts and comes equipped with tennis racquets and 2 kayaks.
Large sliding glass doors open onto decks on one side and a sheltered fenced courtyard and BBQ area on the other. There is a covered sheltered outdoor room with an open fireplace for al fresco living. The spa pool is fully fenced. The courtyard has an outdoor dining table and there are three large market umbrellas to ensure shade as desired.

The upstairs master bedroom has a view of the sea and a pleasant outlook over Te Kie Point which terminates the southern end of Omaha Beach.

The downstairs the master bedroom has en-suite and garden views and a private courtyard. . A third double bedroom looks into a garden and trees. The bunk room doubles as a second living area and has a large television with Netflix and Neon - great for kids and adults. The built-in bunks are a favourite with guests of all ages.

The kitchen is well equipped and includes an Nespresso and a La Pavoni Espresso machine. Guests are free to use kitchen condiments for cooking. The house is furnished with a mix of contemporary and mid-century furniture. Art works complement the interior spaces.

Special conditions:
The minimum stay is TWO nights during the year, THREE nights over a long weekend and seven nights over the Christmas to New Year period.

Arrival time is 4pm and departure time is 12pm (to allow for cleaning and servicing). We are open to accommodating your preferences where possible, so if you would prefer different arrival and departure times, just ask.
