Great vacation

Great property, spectacular views of the lake. Had plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. Definitely keep on my list of places to return to.

Property Review

The property was conveniently located with easy access to I-4. Close to Disney World (30 Min. Drive). It’s a home away from home with all the convenience. Proper manager was always quick to respond.

Perfect Getaway

Everything was just as it was advertised, and it suited our needs just perfectly. Since we were on a quiet corner just across the street from the lake, we could enjoy the view and also not worry that our dog would disturb the neighbors if we left. The back yard was mostly secured, and we were able to spend time with him there throughout the day. We will definitely return to this cute cottage in the future!

Great home base for ball games

We stayed here to watch our son play baseball. House was comfortable and view of lake out front windows is nice. Plenty of room to stretch out for the two of us. Our stay was relaxing and perfect for what we needed a place to chill after being at the ball fields all day. We loved kicking our feet up on the reclining sofas in the living room after a long day.

Beautiful lake view

We were in the area for a soccer tournament at Lake Myrtle Sports Park and it was a quick 10 minute drive. The lake view was pretty and the house was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The property manager was quick to respond and made the process smooth and easy.

Awesome location

This house was perfect for our large family. Plenty of beds and living space. Close enough to downtown, we walked to restaurants. Beautiful view of the lake across the street. Easy communication, and very accommodating even with last minute changes. The home is older, but we didn’t mind that. Plan to stay here again when we come back to Auburndale.

Stayed for a few days. House looks small from the outside. Much bigger inside!! Plenty of room for our group of 5. Easily could have been a group of 8-10. Lake is beautiful!!

Older Home

This is a older home, very clean and roomy on the inside. Could only get 2 cars in the drive. The drive was a little busted up which would make it hard for someone with balance issues to walk. Close to town and places to eat. Woud rent it again.

Beautiful View

Dealing with the owner was like talking to a friend, very helpful and responsive to questions. Their welcome packet contained all the info you could need. We sat on front porch which looks over the lake. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect property for us who was visiting family in area and needed a home base. The house does sit on a busy road with added traffic for school and church next door. Would definitely stay there again.

Looks are deceiving

The best thing was the view of the lake and the ability to walk near the lake. Upon arrival I was disappointed about the outside view of the house. Inside was totally different, the spacious was good and the house was cleaned. There was big roaches in the dining room and the sink connected to the master bedroom.

Lovely home and hospitality

We were impressed with the owners welcome packet and hospitality via text and email communications. The home was very nice and the lake view beautiful. The town was quite cute. Overall we were very comfortable. Our only suggestions would be to have extra fans available because one side of the home was hotter at night and maybe blackout curtains in the second king bedroom due to the church digital sign outside that can be seen through the windows at night. The price was great and we are very happy with our choice! Don’t hesitate to book it!

Lake front home

The home was completely ready for us, and we enjoyed the stay, but we had no idea how noisy the road noise would be at night. 18 wheelers traveled a lot down that road during the night. The town was great, we had a nice dinner at Beef O'Brady's and the kids liked the playground. Wish the lawn people didn't start right at 7AM under our bedroom windows. We know they have a schedule but for people on vacation that was way too early.In all it was a perfect home for us but a little bit too noisy.

Water Leak Ruined Stay

The property was great but half way through our stay a major water leak developed. Water flooded the back porch/laundry area, master bath, kitchen, and into the dining and living room. The first person who showed up to investigate was totally incompetent. The water removal people who came were excellent and efficient. We went without water for three nights of our stay. The leak was not the property owner’s fault. We really did enjoy our stay nonetheless.
