We had an elderly parent with us, and did not realize it had so many stairs. Outside is not appealing. Rusted staircase, and not very safe. Lumpy pillows, mold in bathroom and wall needs to be repaired behind bathroom door. Water pressure was horrible. TV was hard to figure out. Could not turn on dishwasher. Great pictures, but unit was not very nice. Overpriced for what we got. However, it is in a great location.

The location is perfect, and you have your own parking spot downtown. We enjoyed being able to walk to shops and restaurants without driving. With this convenience though, there is a lot of street noise. The wifi is great, but the space is not really conducive to work. The lighting is for a house, not workspace and again it is loud. Would we stay again? Yes! Would I be better prepared for the noise? Yes! Also, the showers are tiny. My husband is 6 ft and 200 lbs and he felt a little claustrophobic. But, not so much that we wouldn't stay again for the location!

Fine, with the right expectations

The property worked great for us, and if we had a reason to go to Auburn again, we would stay again. Easy walk to everything on campus. Smack dab in the commercial area with restaurants and bars and a Target out the window. But it is an old, historic (?) building. The entrances are up tired, rusty, metal stairs. The wood around the exterior doors are rotted. But once inside, the apartment is mostly solid.The showers have an 18" entrance, and are 2'x2' inside. One is clean and in good condition, although one has a gross, flaky ceiling. The place is loud: street noise, train, bakery downstairs was playing tunes at 6am but we brought ear plugs based on other reviews and had no issues.Furniture was decent. Fridge was spotless. Great to have free parking. Place for dog to pee just down a short flight of stairs. We would definitely stay again. Just set your expectations.

Military pinning

We were at Auburn for grandson's Auburn graduation and military pinning. This was a wonderful place to stay and so convenient to everything. Could walk to all the restaurants on college street. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Place

This location was great! The owner was great and very responsive! Close to campus and restaurants! There was a bit of music downstairs that played thru the night, so bring your noisemaker if you’re not a heavy sleeper! But in all we would stay here again.

Wonderful Location

Wonderful location right next to Auburn. It was a little loud at night due to it being St. Patricks's Day. Also, the train was very loud when it passed through. But the location was perfect for touring Auburn, and the parking was great.The only thing I could recommend is securing the stairway in the back so it doesn't move. It's sturdy, but the wobbling freaked out my family.

Great for our family

Having a second bedroom was amazing with our 1 year old. She could have her own space and we didn’t have to tip toe around during nap times. Very convenient to be in the heart of downtown to walk everywhere!

Exactly as described! Amazing Location.

Doesn’t get any more “in town” than this. Walkable to everything. Parking was great. Very clean and well appointed. Host was extremely responsive. This place was welcoming and tbh, it exceeded our expectations. We did sleep 8 here and it was a little tight - as we expected – but it worked, and the description of the sleeping accommodations are perfectly accurate, including the air mattress. Staying in town on a football weekend is going to be loud at night- that’s to be expected - and not a problem for us. This was a great rental and would definitely rent again here.

Love staying in the heart of Auburn

This is my second time renting this property. Its central location makes it a wonderful spot to explore Auburn. For those who want access to the lively (and boisterous!) downtown area—even on non-game weekends—this is the perfect spot! The Target right next door makes it easy to get essentials for the full-sized kitchen, and there are also wonderful eateries right outside your doorstep.
