Excellent stay. Very comfortable home with stunning lake views and all the amenities you would need. Beautiful wooded back and side yards, perfect for dogs. Great vibe in the house. We would definitely go back and stay again!Two suggestions:1. The lake isn't accessible from the property because it is up to high, and there are large rocks - unless there is access somewhere that wasn't obvious. It would be nice to clarify this on the listing. It says 25 feet from the water, but we weren't able to get down to the water. 2. There were just enough towels for the stay, but a few extras would be nice, especially for the kitchen.

Decided after my wedding it would be great to have a place for all friends and family to stay. We always rent a place on superior in the fall this one just with some extra guests and I can say BY FAR this is the best place we have stayed. Everything you need is there just bring yourself, plenty of places to sleep, beautiful view , everything you can imagine is thought of with this property. If you are staying in the area , stay here !

The kitchen was especially well equipped, including some seasonings and dish soap. It was super easy to cook here. The deck is also well furnished and offers a beautiful view. The house is very clean, and even the bathrooms were supplied with soap and hair products. The property manager was very responsive.A couple issues: None of the televisions worked (even after someone came to reset them on wifii) except the one in the family room. And that one is hung so high on the wall it was impossible to watch it comfortably. Written TV instructions might help, since even basic cable is not provided. We also had to move furniture for six people to sit together in the main room in an attempt to watch tv.Better lighting would have been appreciated. All the bedrooms and loft are extremely dark. Please consider buying new lamps and new lightbulbs.

This is an awesome property. It was clean. Was well thought out in providing necessities for the stay. The kitchen is stocked for everything you might need to cook, bake, and grill. The dishwasher does make cleanup after meals easier. Having the lake at the back door is great for listening to water sounds. Be sure to take time in the swing to relax. There are many local activities and adventures to be had. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic!

Property is absolutely gorgeous. House is clean and had plenty of space for the six of us. The location is quiet and private. The outdoor space is fantastic for hanging out. We rented ATVs and were able to follow the trails back to the house. The house is also conveniently located to Pictured Rocks and all the beautiful surrounding towns.

Family Vacation

Lovely property! The house and grounds were in excellent condition. It has a very secluded retreat feel to the property (can’t really see neighbors and the road is not visible from the house). Host was very responsive and fixed our only minor issue of a coffee pot that gave up during our stay. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was that we thought we would be able to walk out onto a beach from the house/firepit area but it’s actually a rock edge. There is a pebble/rock area further down the coastline and there are beaches a short drive away though! Highly recommend!!!

A Perfect Getaway with Stunning Lake Superior Views!

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful VRBO in Au Train! The view of Lake Superior is absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the stunning sunrises over the water was one of the many highlights of our trip. Every morning felt magical as we sipped on coffee and watched the sky turn an array of stunning colors before giving way to the sun dancing across the lake. The house itself is stocked with literally everything you could ever need, from kitchen essentials to entertainment options. It’s clear the hosts have thought of everything to make guests feel right at home. We were able to cook meals easily, enjoy coffee on the deck, and relax without missing a single thing. The location is fantastic—quiet and serene but still close to plenty of local attractions and amenities. Whether you’re exploring nearby hiking trails, visiting Pictured Rocks, or just relaxing by the lake, this home offers the perfect base for it all. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with a view that can’t be beat, I highly recommend staying here. We cannot wait to come back!

Superior Stay

Superior Sunrise is amazing. The house was very clean, with many amenities and plenty of room for our party. The house itself is wonderful, however the deck and fire pit area are simply fantastic. We did not need to visit any scenic views of the lake, as we all agreed we had the best view right from the property! The house was nice and private, but still close to Munising for supplies, restaurants, and souvenir shopping. We did a little sightseeing, but mainly spent time visiting with family and enjoying the sounds and view of the lake. We spent our evenings around the fire pit, and the stargazing was incredible! One of the reasons we chose this area for our trip was a hope to see the Northern Lights. And on our last night, mission accomplished! The perfect ending to a perfect trip! We will be back!

Superior Sunrise

This is the best place we have stayed at in the UP and top 5 of all time. The views are spectacular, as you look north upon 10% of the world's fresh water you will be struck by the best sunrise you have ever seen. The bedrooms are very nice up stairs has its own deck. Kitchen and dinning room are excellent for large groups. It has a nice garage that you can use. Munising is 15 minutes away, grocery store is good, restaurants are there. Pictured rocks is a little past Munising plan on spending time there it is amazing. Thanks to all we will be back.

Superior Sunrise!

The sunrises were spectacular. We had an eagle fly in every morning to watch the sunrise with us. The outside space is wonderful with plenty of room for all guests. The kitchen and great room was perfect for all of us to gather. We enjoyed the area. Kayak Pictured Rocks, hike as well, kayak the au train river .... it was all great.
