"This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Walhampton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient with assisting in our requests. This is a great place to stay to experience the local town. You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! "

"We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). The room was spacious but it’s old fashioned and didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Disappointing."

"The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom could have done with better clean. Rogue hairs on floor but everywhere else good. Apart from mosquito that ate me alive nothing but good to say. Ate in restaurant. Food good but very slow service. 55 mins for simple order. Would recommend overall"

"Absolutely lovely oasis of tranquility in the New Forest. We took our small dog and everything was catered for from bowls and towels in the room to a washing station and poo bags. Staff were amazing, busy but always helpful and chatty. Food was top notch, as were the cocktails and a lovely breakfast. Can’t fault it, oh and there was air con in the room……. Thank god!"

"Lovely accommodation in great location for exploring the New Forest. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a good selection of cooked food, although limited cold choices. Pub garden is large with various areas for sitting out. This was just as well as the Filly Inn does not have air conditioning which meant that our bedroom was far too hot to spend any time in. Shame as it was a lovely room with great shower room. The staff did provide us with a fan but it was not up to the job of cooling...
