"We stayed in mid May, 2024, guests were myself, my wife, and our dog. This cabin was fantastic for our trip to the Keweenaw peninsula. It feels very private, you have tons of space, the property is gorgeous, and it's an easy drive into town for meals in the evening or supplies. The sauna was a particular treat! We really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely stay again if we're ever back in the area!"

"Beautiful property outside of Houghton with lovely outdoor seating to enjoy nature. House was very clean and well equipped. You are a bit out of town. The listing says Atlantic Mine, but it seems more like Liminga area so plan to drive 15 minutes to restaurants and groceries. The exception was Schmidt's Corner which is 2 miles away and good for dinner and drinks. Overall enjoyable stay."

"Excellent stay at Northwinds Adventure at the "Love Palace"...Plenty of room for the family to relax and hang out, play games, etc...Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals...wifi worked great...plenty of towels in the bathrooms...fireplace was a bonus, too cold to spend time outside, so I cannot speak to lake/beach amenities, about a 10 minute drive to MTU...overall great stay, would recommend, would stay again. Thank you!"

"We were in town to spend Easter weekend with our freshman MTU student, since he couldn't make the 9 hour trip home... the cabin was perfect; clean, plenty of room, and well stocked with household items. We were able to cook Easter dinner for a small group of MTU students, and we had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and cozy... we especially loved the wood stove, since I am always cold. We were so happy with it, we already booked one of the cabins for next Easter!"

"This is a truly beautiful property! The home was comfortable and well stocked. A somewhat secluded location perfectly situated on the shore. Communication with Todd was spectacular, very responsive. My only regret is that we didn’t use the sauna more, the post swim in Lake Superior is an experience. I look forward to retuning soon!"

"Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. The peacefulness listening to nature and the waves hit was just perfect. We were also able to go out and explore the rest of the UP which was much cooler than I had expected. "This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

"Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. We stayed for 4 nights and found lots of agates and even some lake worn copper to add to our ever growing rock collection. Sifted through mine tailings and found some greenstone...
