The property was very clean. We really enjoyed the home, it's perfect for 2 families with young kids to stay for a vacation. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs with a door to separate them from the main living area, each area with one with 2 twin beds and one with a queen bed. Layout was well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual cooking tools, we cooked most meals at home since there's not a ton of restaurants nearby (plus with COVID, we didn't want to dine-in anywhere). The bedrooms were very spacious. The screened in upper porch is great for enjoying fresh air and avoiding mosquitoes. Was one of our favorite parts of the house. We brought outlet covers since our little one is 15 months (I never expected this from the rental agency, just a suggestion for parents of young kids who may read this). The washer and dryer made it so we didn't have to pack a ton of clothes. Chincoteague Island is only about a 15 min drive, we purchased a week access pass and it was perfect. It's valid at the Assateague Island park as well. If you get lucky, your trip might just line up with a rocket launch like ours did! NASA Wallops Island is nearby, the visitor center was closed (assuming due to covid-19) but you can see the launch pads from the neighborhood the house is in. The neighborhood is very quiet, well kept, and walkable. We walked down to the pier several nights, also saw some wild turkeys, and a bald eagle was flying over the water!
