Easy check in and check out. Very clean . Walking distance to the beach, shopping, food.There is ice and soda machines close to the pool area. The staff in the office is very friendly. Thank you for a great stay.

Basic, but clean and everything you need. Just a short walk to the beach. I would love to stay here again!

We arrived at the place around 9pm of Friday 5/29/26. After checking in we directly go to dinner and returned to the room around 11:00 PM. Getting in the room, we noticed a container of spackle, along with sandpaper blocks, left on the table and smeared spackle on the floor. Further inspection revealed a thick layer of spackle dust on the dresser and across all the surfaces in the room, even on the bed (see the attached pictures for reference). The dust was so thick that the final attached picture shows the footprints we left on the entryway floor just from stepping out of the room. There was also no shampoo and conditioner which suppose to be provided based on hotel description. Because it was past midnight and the reception desk had closed at 9:00 PM, we were tired and chose not to disturb anyone on the emergency line. Instead, we did a quick cleanup ourselves and went to sleep. The next morning, we waited for the reception desk to open at 9:00 AM and brought the situation to the receptionist, Shawn Adams. After hearing what happened, she did not apologize; instead, she blamed us for not making an emerge call the night before. Her attitude made us really sad! Furthermore, our room lock stopped working, forcing us to change a room with hassle. We had planned a two-night stay with one full day to enjoy our vacation. Waiting for the reception to open and dealing with these issues took up half of our day. Ultimately, the experience in Island Inn ruined all of our trip.

Perfect little beach stay!

To borrow from Zac Brown Band, this place is everything you need and nothing that you don’t. You can’t find a more central location- walking distance (with dog and baby) to beach, dinner, ice cream, coffee, and beer. Extremely clean, super easy check in process, relatively quiet at night. We stayed here in the off-season so it was quieter than usual- I’m sure this place is a bit more active and loud during the summer. But for us in March, it was absolutely perfect.

Perfect!

The Island Inn has to be the best place we have stayed at. It’s immaculate, what you see on the pictures is what you get. So no surprises. The staff is outstanding and friendly. We highly recommend it and we will see you all very soon.

Great potential

For the price, we had a good stay overall. The stay could have been great with a few improvements. Two outlets in the room didn’t work, and there was no hand soap or tissues. The office workers were super nice. We had to call the emergency number after hours twice because our neighbors were blaring music at night. The on-call staff answered promptly and addressed the problem both times. The room was very clean. We will probably pay a little more for a different place next time we’re in AB, but this place is in a great location and is mostly quiet unless you end up with unfortunate neighbors like we did.
