We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a blend of classic beach vibes mixed with modern amenities. The hot tub and pool were well kept and the floor layout was perfect for gathering to enjoy meals and watch ball games in the evenings. The spacious deck was also very accommodating for those who wanted to sit in the sun as well as those who preferred the shade. We would visit again and again!

Mermaid is Paradise, between the pool, ocean and hot tub it made a little get away into a dream. Walking distance to Great food, unbelievable views! We will definitely be coming back to Mermaid !

Lovely beach front property! We stayed here for a long weekend and had the best time. The home is the perfect beach cottage with tons of space to spread out and enjoy vacation. Our family enjoyed to hot tub, pool and fun game room. Winter sunsets are amazing-we spotted dolphins sitting on the back deck and enjoyed the walkability to the circle. Thank you to the fantastic host Stefan for being super responsive. We will be back to enjoy this sea side gem for again in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rental was beautifully decorated with so much character — it truly felt like a home, not just a place to stay. The owner was wonderful to work with: responsive, kind, and genuinely cared about our experience. Everything was thoughtfully done, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The house had just been cleaned very well when we arrived. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by every one of all ages. The views were spectacular and beach access couldn’t have been better! We did have an issue with the basement area, but the host immediately responded and had a maintenance person come in. The house is very spacious and decorated beautifully. Definitely enjoyed the outdoor grill!

We loved having a place with a private pool and hot tub. But we here were quite a few negatives. There were many cockroaches outside and a handful inside that we would see come out at night. Overall the house looked clean but there were definitely areas around that could use a much deeper clean.The house was very old, so expect older furniture (wardrobes instead of dressers), no closets and not many outlets. The owner was great and let us know that the outdoor shower had the best water pressure, but the outdoor shower can be viewed from the upper balcony space. The walk to the beach was nice but the sand has definitely piled up, so it was longer and harder than we would’ve liked. We were vacationing with 10 adults and 6 children aged 2 and under, so the walk of course was harder with a stroller/wagon. The deck area and pool space was gorgeous, definitely the best part of the property, but it wasn’t the safest with the young toddlers we had as they could easily fall into the pool. So this house was not a great space for young children.

We had a wonderful stay. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the covered deck was also a plus. The communication with the host for a minor issue was easy and he got back to us fast. The issue was solved quickly and we enjoyed the rest of our stay.

This is an older, partially updated home in a great location. Extremely easy access to the beach. Great backyard patio/pool area with plenty of seating. Two decks with awesome ocean views. Plenty of room for our group of 9 to spread out. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Had a great week with family!

Great Place

Great location and plenty of space for our group of seven. Pool, hot tub, gas grill and really nice deck/back yard were very convenient. Beach just steps away. No definite plans at this time but definitely plan on coming back in the future.
