    A Place At The Beach offers extensive amenities and one of the best family getaways imaginable - there's practically no reason to ever leave the resort grounds!


    Can't you just see the excitement on your children's faces as they approach the outdoor swimming pool and water slide or the nine-hole putt-putt golf course? Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, the game room, and the gas grills. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the beautiful, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells.


    This particular condo is located on the oceanfront, on the first floor of the L building. Amenities include a galley kitchen (with a dishwasher for easy clean-up), two TVs, and free WiFi throughout. There are laundry facilities on-site as well.

The space was a perfect unit for our family with two younger children. The proximity to the beach and pool was amazing and we loved all the amenities on site. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place to stay

Convenient to the pool and beach from the unit. I think one of the things we got from Vacasa mentioned something about paying for parking passes but those are provided free. It was a great place to stay with a ton of amenities!

Love A Place At The Beach!

We absolutely love staying here, this was our 3rd time and we have always had a great experience. The location of this room was perfect for accessing the beach and pool. It was just the right size for our family. We love the pool and water slide. We really enjoyed the new walkway to the beach.

Great Stay

My stay through VACASA at A Place at The Beach in Atlantic Beach was a very enjoyable vacation. The facility had ammenities that were good except for the outside pool closing at 6. Condo was well stocked with towels and linens and kept very clean

Great experience

We loved staying at A Place at the Beach! It was clean and the beach was beautiful and the our condo was so close to the walkway. Parking was close and easy. I will say one thing about the bed. It was a little small for my husband and I to sleep in. But overall a great location for a relaxing beach trip! We will definitely be returning!

The unit was perfect. All the extras made it even greater. The easy beach access and the water slide was our favorite things. They had outdoor ans indoor pools. Nightly bonfires. They had plenty of activities for the kids. The only downfall was no cellphone service and the wifi sucked. The staff and security was very nice. The check in staff at the actually place where you get the bracelets are no help.

Very nice facility, but substandard condo unit!

A Place at the Beach 3 was very nice - the outdoor pool, the indoor pool, the hot tub, the grounds, the office, the beach access walkway, etc., but the condo was not nearly as nice. It was not up to the standards that we have been accustomed to when renting through VRBO. The condo needed a lot of updating and general maintenance. The condo was managed by Vacasa and we will not stay at any other place that is managed by them.

The view

The view from the balcony is horrible !! There is a tree in the way of the ocean!! Which are room was supposed to be ocean view- horrible!! The 2nd bedroom was very different than the pictures! The remote in the main bedroom didn’t work at all!.

Cute but dated. Pros: We were close to the beach/pool and parking lot. Has basic kitchen items (minus a can opener, the Teflon pans should probably be replaced). The pool was perfect for all age groups. The main section goes from 1ft to 4ft with a couple submerged ledges to sit and the roped off deep end goes to 8ft. The pool was bigger than expected. Cons: Cell service is jammed and the wifi wouldn't auto connect. This room is ocean front but has no view of the ocean (you look at the sand dune). The cold water was limited and wasn't really cold. There is water damage in multiple spots- the floor was spongy in areas. The microwave should be replaced, it is compromised by the rust inside. The main bedroom is at the front of the unit and you can hear the hall traffic- also the hall light seeped around the blind. The pool could more shaded areas.
