Business Trip for Tradeshow

We sent a team of six to Atlanta for a show in early August. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. However, inside the house, there were many basic necessities like soap and shampoo not stocked. In the kitchen only some of the drawers and doors had pulls to open them - thought this was very strange. I had two towels in the master bedroom bath and one of them looked like a tie die shirt. Also, no trash can in the master bath.

Overall

The location was great and the house is plenty big for our family of 10. Wish there would have been more amenties in the kitchen. There was no cookie sheets, hot pads or kitchen towels and no hand towels in the bathrooms. Just think when you do an VRBO is is like being at home. The listing indicated there was a grill and there wasn't and not that we needed a garage, but the listing shouldn't include things that aren't available. House could use a little repair as the ceiling fan in the master bed room didn't work, no hot water in the master tub, no plug for the downstairs tub and no hot water in the jack and jill bathroom sink. The host was great to work with and very help on getting everything completed I needed to before we arrived and was having work done right before we arrived and communicate that the lawn company was coming so that didn't rude any of our plans of needing to be outside.

No televisions and/or trash cans in bedrooms & Switches on wall did not turn ceiling fans on.

Upon entering into driveway you can visibly notice the 1st floor outside widow shutter hanging on an angle. The front entry door key pad lock and door knob was not secured in place(very wobbly). Garage entry door from inside the house could not be locked and we were told that out of the three car garage we were able to use only one which was not the case. The laundry room window was visibly broken and cracked. The family room television did not work for the four nights & five days of our stay. There are 3 television remotes that did not work and no batteries to be found for replacement. I purchased new batteries and after replacing the old batteries with the new batteries the remotes and television still did not turn on. I sent numerous messages to the property manager/owner who stated she would send her nephew to come fix/resolve issue but he never showed. Master bedroom central air conditioning system did not work the room had two box fans. The queen bedroom with bathroom en-suite ceiling fan did not work and/or turn on. Jack & Jill bathroom sink had no hot water until my husband’s brother went underneath sink and turned it on. He also remounted the toilet paper holder back onto the wall. The only other television in the house besides the family room was located in the twin bedroom and that one did not work either despite replacing the old batteries with new ones. The first floor queen bedroom nightstand had missing knobs and there was no dresser to put away clothes.

Perfect Property for a Family.

I want to thank the host for having my family and I. Perfect location and beautiful neighborhood. Close to all free ways and the airport. I love the property layout and the pool table was a bonus. Can't thank the host enough. I will rent this property everytime I'm in the ATL. 🙏

Large and Accommodating Needing Repairs

The house was very convenient to our events in the Atlanta area! We loved the fact that it was very close to the airport! The house was very accommodating for our large family! However: -towel racks missing or broken in the bathrooms, -no hangers, no table knives, -toilet in middle full bedroom had Issues -AC vents were missing in the middle bedroom. -smoke detectors were disabled -no night stand or lamps in Master We use the VBRO services quite often and these minimal conveniences are expected in general rentals at this rate.

Not as advertised

The property was very dirty- crumbs in the couch, hair in the bathrooms/showers, soiled towels, garbage cans completely full, missing outlet covers all over, lights that didn’t work in all the rooms, a random truck pulled into and parked for several hours late at night and we were afraid to enter the property because of this (we’d already been checked in earlier). The host did not communicate well. We had no where else to go but the overall cleanliness was the biggest issue.

Great Location! Beautiful Home.

The property was really nice and the location was perfect distance from the airport and the city. Very small concerns such as home needs spraying (spotted several bugs), no TVs in bedrooms, spare room could be converted into bed but there is an air mattress, Host responds better via phone/text than the app. Overall, great stay!

Friends and Family trip.

This property is a great place, for a group of guys. Each bedroom has a separate bathroom, which is great for a group of guys. The pool table is a nice addition. The location and neighborhood, is great with easy access. The host is easy to get in touch with, which makes the check-in and out process very easy. We will book this property again in the near future.

Great experience in ATL

Beautiful house in a great neighborhood. Mirna was awesome to work with for our group of 10. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Really enjoyed the pool table and movie room. Will book again.

The house is a little gem. Nicely decorated and new freshly painted walls. We arrived to a freshly cleaned home. The rooms were clean the house was tidy. Mirna was easy to work with and attentive during check in. We had enough towels, sheets & comfy beds for my family of 7. There were 2 tvs one in the livingroom and one in the blue movie room. If I could change one thing I’d put a TV in the master bedroom, but we had our laptops and Wi-Fi to compensate. I would definitely stay here again close to food & shopping great area!

Some issues

Property is due for a remodel / rehab. Can tell it has been used a lot and needs to get things fixed and a face lift. One down side is there is no TV's in the bedrooms and one of the rooms that says futon is not its just a regular couch you cannot sleep on and the blowup beds they provide all had issues and would deflate through the night. Over all location was good. Host was very responsive to the issues we had with the property when we got there and took care of most of our issues right away. I am sure once the property gets its face lift and fixed up it will be a great place. Just a shame because we did not get a property that was worth we paid for due to condition .

We had a ball!

We were there for my daughters graduation from Spelman. The house was spacious clean and close to downtown and the airport. The owner was accommodating. I’d definitely recommend this location! Thanks for making this memorable occasion one for the books!
