I recently stayed at this Vrbo property from Friday, 2/27 to Sunday, 3/1. I want to begin by saying that the hostess/owner was very responsive and I had no issues with the check-in process, which I appreciated.Unfortunately, the condition of the home did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. None of the beds had top sheets, and the sheets that were on the beds did not appear clean. I ended up washing them myself before my guests arrived, as they had visible hair and particles on them. All of the comforters and pillows appear to need replacement. The pillows were stained and very flat, with two placed inside each pillowcase to compensate. None of the bedding fit the beds properly.There were cobwebs and dust in the corners, marks throughout the walls, and trash in corners and behind doors. When removing the sheets, I also noticed broken slats and trash underneath the beds. I informed the host of these issues. She mentioned she believed the sheets had been washed but said I could wash them if I preferred. I also made her aware of the debris found under the beds.There were several maintenance concerns as well. The kitchen sink knob was loose and occasionally caused water to squirt onto the counter. The hot water heater was leaking, and plastic bags had been tied around it, indicating the issue was known. There was a broken ottoman, a bar stool with loose legs and a protruding screw (which felt unsafe), and one bedroom was missing TV remote controls.
