There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

We had a fantastic stay at this Vrbo property! The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions about the area. We were five families with kids aged 9 to 18, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well-equipped with ample plates, utensils, and cooking pots, and the two dining rooms accommodated our large group perfectly. The house had a charming character, was very clean, and showed signs of thoughtful upgrades. Overall, it was the perfect spot for our annual gathering!

The property was wonderful, comfortable and well maintained, with farmhouse touches that made it ideal for a weekend getaway. We were 5 families and 23 people, including seniors and kids. There was room for everyone. The main house was good for 3 families, the cottage for 1 and the bunk for 1 - these are close enough that we could gather in the main house as a group.The only thing we would highlight is that some rooms are non-standard and 5 baths are spread across 3 houses, so do communicate with the host to make sure the 3 houses (main, bunk and cottage) are included if that is what you need. The default booking may not include them. Also, the loft may not be for everyone (steep narrow steps) but worked for young teens in our group.

Hidden Little Gem

No regrets choosing Moose Mountain Lodge for our family reunion this summer! The main house, bunk house, and guest cottage nicely accommodated all 23 of us of varying ages. The manager, Amy, was attentive and very pleasant to deal with and does her best to maintain this hidden little gem in the mountains.

Absolutely beautiful property. The pictures don’t do it justice and it’s very reasonably priced. Amy is a great and attentive host. I was here for a bachelor party and the property checked all the boxes, enough beds to sleep in, giant fire-pit, great lawn for games. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Amy (the host) was so accommodating and friendly, from start to finish. We chose this beautiful place because it fit all of our needs and it was perfect. Great location for a group retreat

Lots of room indoors and out while not feeling like we were overwhelmed by the space. It was the right choice for our group that wanted to cook and eat together, meet for reflection, and relax in a rural/Adirondack setting.

Great Family Reunion trip

This was a wonderful vacation site with my family of 32! We had people from all over the US and Canada and we all had access to quiet corners, comfortable sleep and big spaces to play and have fun. The facility was very well equipped. We had lots of towels, sheets, dishes, glassware, etc. The bathrooms even had little extras like Q-Tips and flossers! Everything worked well and we had a terrific time. I appreciated Amy's regular contact with me while we were planning and when we first got there. It made me confident that we had picked the right place. We were able to use the fire pit to go out and chat and to make s'mores with the kids. We grilled burgers, played badminton, had a baby pool, set up some golf chipping and enjoyed a walk in the woods behind to see the amazing work of beavers on that huge dam! Amy's tips on where to go were very helpful. We enjoyed Bolton Landing - boat rides, paddle boarding, swimming and even set up pickle ball on the basketball courts. We shopped at Bolton Landing and Lake George. We enjoyed 3 amazing hikes (strenuous ones and a kids walk through the woods). We played board games most nights on the large table in the dining area and in the amply spaced living room. I really enjoyed working with Amy on the planning and during our visit. Thank you Amy!

Extra space was good for large families. Amy was very attentive, but there were mice in the main house and the bunk house, so traps etc could not really correct their presence. (Several in main house , at least one (not caught) in bunk house .)

Awesome vacation

The property was perfect for us. Went up with 20 friends plenty of beds to sleep on. Good distance to saratoga and lake george area but still very secluded to hang out back at the house. Would definitely stay here again

Good stay

A group of friends and I stayed over for a weekend when we went rafting at wild waters in warrensburg. Our stay was pleasant— everyone enjoyed the campfire, the living room space. Kitchen was fully stocked although we didn’t use a lot of the appliances. There were thoughtful post-it directions everywhere to prevent any sort of problem/issues.. only thing was that there was no hot tub/spa tub which was listed on amenities. This was actually a big part of why we chose this property with hopes to dip in after a long day of rafting. I let the owner know and she apologized for the mistake. She was very attentive with communicating with me, and offered a late checkout. I appreciated the sincerity and flexibility since we were a big group. Overall a great stay

Moose was a great fit

We were a group of ski families up in the area for races at Gore . Moose Lodge was a great fit for our group of 20+ people. It was large enough for all members in our group to sleep comfortably in beds and the property has plenty of common area spaces that were comfortable and cozy. The property was clean and our host, Amy, was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable about the property. Our group of teen racers enjoyed staying together in the bunkhouse and we even enjoyed a wonderful outdoor campfire. All in our group expressed their appreciation for the property and all it's amenities. Amy's descriptions of the property are spot on and helped us plan for our four night stay perfectly. I'd highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!

Comfortable Retreat in the Adirondacks

This property was ideal for hosting a large group. The kitchen, dining, and gathering areas were large, comfortable, and perfect for eating and socializing after a great ski day. The house was clean and well-stocked with all the essentials that no one remembers to bring - aluminum foil, garbage bags, etc. The property owner was amazing to work with - communication was great and she was responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend this property for groups looking to spend time together in the Adirondacks! Thank you!

Perfect Family Get Together Venue

Just had 4 days and 3 night with 30 family members from 14 months to 71 years old and Moose was EXACTLY what we were looking for! Multiple bunking houses to accommodate small families, multiple people of just couples - it worked perfect for our group! We booked about 9 months ago and Amy was great with her communication and help from day one of booking through the day we left. Thank you Amy!
