This is a very comfortable house on lake Logan. We had 3 couples and an infant and were very comfortable. The home is very clean, the amenities are very nice quality and well maintained. Great communication with ownership. The host is well organized. We would stay again

This was our family's 4th annual christmas cabin! It was the best one we've done yet- the cabin was perfect! So festive with all the decorations. Cabin itself very well built. All the amenities were very nice and they had everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. We enjoyed and appreciated every small detail they provided. Highly recommend!

What an amazing property. I can’t say enough about our stay. The cabin was clean, had everything you needed and more. It is close to the caves, shopping, and entertainment and not to mention the beautiful view on the lake. I definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Hocking Hills!

Wonderful family experience

Excellent! The whole family enjoyed the cleanness of theproperty with all the amenities like the hot-tub, 2 friges, the view of the lake and access to it with an abundance of cayaks, and canoes. And life-long memories!

Very nice house, very close neighbors

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and large. Some things werent working but not a big deal. Place is listed as private but there are homes all around you, the house next to us was ten feet away and they had a party, it was hard to enjoy the back yard when you are sharing it. Like other bnbs we stayed at there were a lot of rules, but the threats of extra fees or removal from grounds was a bit excessive. Felt like big brother was watching us. Was a bit overboard.

Expensive getaway

Cabin was great! Communication from owner was not friendly but contained all the information you need. Check out is 10 AM, even if the cabin is not rented after your stay. You can extend for $100/hour or an additional night’s rate.

Quick end of summer getaway

Sleeping accommodations were perfect for our family of 7 adults. Love that it had 3 king and a queen bed. Very comfortable! Very clean! Pretty lake view! Large deck! Wonderful having kayaks available for use with life jackets.

Property was very nice. Large deck that looked out on Lake Logan. The setting and surrounding property was lovely, peaceful and quiet. Kayaks and bikes were available, although not a good area for bike riding. The house was very nice and up-to-date. We thought it was pricey but we were glad we stayed there.

Amazing stay at the Avalon Villa

I booked this beautiful property for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and family vacation. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. The cabin is very well appointed and carefully maintained, located on the shore of Scenic Lake Logan. The cabin itself is a lovely, easily accommodating our 5 guests. We were impressed by the cabin’s cleanliness and wonderfully outfitted kitchen, complete with all the utensils and appliances we could dream of. Cooking was a joy both inside and outside on the grill. The beds were so soft and comfortable and we enjoyed playing pool in the game room each night. The weather was quite hot in the upper 90s during our stay and were comfortable and cool inside, enjoying the AC. The property is located on scenic Lake Logan and we enjoyed swimming and kayaking from the shared sand beach. The Cabin team provides kayaks and canoes, and we had so much fun gliding across the lake. Evelyn is a joy to work with and helped us feel welcome right from the start! I needed a little help coordinating having a gift delivered to the cabin and she helped me have everything ready for my parents’ arrival. Hiking is near by and we enjoyed several scenic hikes, all within 20 mins drive from the cabin. If you’re looking for a family friendly getaway with all that nature has to offer, I would highly recommend the Avalon Villa and Cut Above Cabins.

Weekend getaway

We wanted a getaway weekend before the kids went back to school/college and it met our expectations. Very clean and well kept. Loved the large living space, large kitchen and 2 refrigerators. Watched the sunset in the backyard by the lake. Although it did rain, there was plenty to do with the game room, covered hot tub and covered deck. Definitely would book again!

Perfect getaway from moms with kids!

My good friend and I get together with our children every year. This property was the perfect fit for our crew. The boys had a blast in staying in the basement. We enjoyed meals, swimming, kayaking, hikes under ten minutes away, a camp fire, movie nights, and the hot tub. We had an absolutely fabulous time and are looking forward to coming back soon! The property was as advertised. Communication was excellent.

Leisure in Logan

This home was perfect for our annual family getaway. The property was absolutely lovely with the lake and kayaks available. The adults loved the jacuzzi while the layout had the perfect sleeping area for our grandchildren . And if the home, amenities and setting wasn’t enough the hiking in Hocking Hills was awesome!

HOCKING HILLS LAKE LOGAN 2024

Five Star. Second year in a row our entire family has stayed at this property. Outstanding host, fantastic view and amenities. Only 15-20 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park and all those activities. We Kayaked and hiked for four days. Roasted marshmallows couple of evenings and watched the stars and meteor shower.

A great place…IF proper maintenance

This beautiful home and setting was great to look at, but not so great to live in. Place advertised two refrigerators. when we arrived, one was unplugged, so we plugged it in and waited for it to cool. it never did. We ended up with thawed meat and had to use our largest cooler for beverages. Not an ideal situation with the high temps outside… Second issue was a gas detector which kept going off. We were eventually told it was faulty and should have been removed from the property. Third situation was the patio door handle which came apart. Luckily the guys had proper tool to put it back together. Biggest disappointment was the water pressure. At times there was barely a trickle. We were careful to not run dishwasher or washer when someone wanted a shower, but the upstairs bathroom shower was still useless despite our precautions.

Beautiful Home

We had a great time with our children and grandchildren. The house was very clean and comfortable. Lots of activities for everyone, kayaking, corn hole, air hockey, and just plain relaxing and enjoying the view. Thanks for sharing your home.
