If you are looking for a place to stay that is in the heart of Athens, this is your best choice. Though it’s a tiny bit hard to find, once you figure out the location, you’ll be glad that you booked. My husband and I stayed for three nights, and could not have been happier. There is shopping, restaurants, bars, and so much culture in the surrounding areas that we were thankful to have picked this location for our stay. The staff at the ice cream shop right next-door are associated with the rental of this location. They were all very nice and accommodating, and Zula, I think she’s the manager, was the best host ever. You will have about a 40 minute taxi ride to the location, but once there, you are a 15 minute walk from the Acropolis, a 10 minute walk from Plaka (trendy and culturally rich location), and you will find Metro stops throughout your walk. If you sign up for any tours, the meeting location is typically at a metro stop that is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel/apartment. We walked it multiple times and felt completely safe, and took many pictures on our walk given how picturesque the path was. Finally, the rooms are set up like a mini apartments, complete with refrigerator, coffee, machine, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Clean, comfortable, and we were able to take hot showers every day. I would recommend this location to anyone I care about, and if I ever go back, this is the first place that I will check for vacancy. Fabulous!

The proerty manager (Shula) took extrodinary care of me during my stay. This included helping me pre-arrange airport transportation to avoid the transportation strike occurring on check-out day. Thank you again for everything.

A great place to stay in a central location
This apartment is in a great location in the city- walking distance to so many sites and restaurants. We got the penthouse apartment and really liked the space. The outdoor patio is great for lounging or eating. The only negative is sound at night- you’ll hear everything. If you’re not a light sleeper it might not be a problem. Soula (host) is incredible and I hope she’s paid accordingly. She made us feel so welcome and cared for- gelato, fruit, water, hugs and friendliness. She is a gem!

Not a hotel - no front desk or concierge.
Location is superb! Short walk to stores and restaurants and central to all the sights. Very convenient. Suites are not what I would call luxury but meet the needs of travellers. Interiors need renovating. Not sure it’s worth what they charge.

Unbelievable view and location in perfect suite
Most amazing suite in an amazing city. Perfectly located in a busy shopping area with many restaurants, cafes, and bars in near proximity. The penthouse suite had amazing views of the city center and the acropolis, a great rooftop deck for sitting and eating meals/drinking coffee, and Soula was the nicest and most caring host you could ever ask for. Great gelato on the first floor, and everything you could ever need within walking distance. The location and service made this a most memorable vacation and it couldn't have been any better.

The property is located near the Monastriaki train station. Our suite had a beautiful view of the Acropolis. The property manager Soula was attentive to all of our needs. If you are looking for a place near dining, dancing, and shopping, this is the perfect place to stay

A+++ service and view of Acropolis right from the room. Owner/manager gave us coffee and ice cream when we arrived. She was so sweet! I would definitely recommend this property!

We had the most amazing time staying at Mythos Luxury Suites. Soula was hands down the best host and instantly made us feel at home. I would stay here over and over again and high recommend it to anyone traveling to Athens.

We had such a great stay and we’re made to feel so welcome. So convenient to everything but despite being in the hustle and bustle, very quiet. Perfect for my family of 4. Oh and the views….amazing!!

The property was amazing! Soula, the host, is amazing. Very loving host along with the other people that work there. Delicious ice cream in the first floor that I would recommend anybody that stays there to try. I would stay there again as long as Soula is our host. Te queremos Soula!

Souls was amazing. She was outside on the street to greet us and check us in. She explained everything very well and made great recommendations for dinner. She even let us borrow a charger when ours would not work. She also arranged for taxis when we needed one for the airport. I would highly recommend this place

This location is convenient, the apartment is very clean and comfortable and the view is wonderful. However, the best part is Soula. She is gracious and so helpful. You will not regret staying here!

This is a great location! A little loud at night because you are so close to everything, but nothing some ear plugs or a sound app can’t help with. We really enjoyed our host and enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location
Great place to explore Athens from. Lots of nearby restaurants. Area is very busy but noise is minimal. Room was very clean and the balcony was nice to have. Great option if you’re looking for a friendly host such as Soula. She couldn’t do enough for us! If we ever come back to Athens, we will stay here again.

This place is obviously a "cheap and quick as possible" renovation. Their pics are misleading, mine show truth. The bed is comfortable and Soula is a superstar to work with, she is the only reason this is not a one star review. I dare the owner to attempt to take a shower here, pulsating hot water makes that an impossibility.

Staying at this apartment during our stay in Athens was great! We could not have been closer to all of the main attractions and amazing culture. Very close walking distance to EVERYTHING. Our property preceptor Shula was very hospitable and kind, welcoming us with open arms and enthusiasm and giving us recommendations for the area. The staff made the property all the better as they were all very very nice people. Thank you very much for the great stay!!

Not a hotel. Large suite on the sixth floor. Little traffic but lots of pedestrians in the street. Many restaurants in the area. Close to the metro, hop on hop off and local busses.

Was totally pleased with my experience. I booked this based on the reviews of Soula and indeed she did not disappoint. She is so lovely, warm, and accommodating, as are the staff who work in the ice cream shop (the hotel is located in the same space). The room itself was amazing and soundproofed (you hear a little traffic from the street but I was fine, even as a light sleeper). The bed was sooo comfortable, the kitchen was an incredibly welcome amenity. The bathroom, though small, didn’t bother me, and the shower was luxurious. Plus the location is close to everything, I never needed a car or train once. If I return to Athens I would stay here again. You can’t beat the price or the amazing host Soula. Thank you again Soula!

The hotel is right above the gelato store Yum.. Me… you can enjoy various flavour of gelato and frozen yoghurt every day! Staff is SUPER NICE AND HELPFUL. Loved the location! Highly recommend.

This hidden gem is located above. Gelato shop. For a town that never sleeps our balcony had a great escape. The elevator is very small, easier to take the stairs or send just the luggage. The area is very touristy but we felt safe in the place. Owner super friendly and resourceful
