Pas le gros luxe, un peu isolé, pas trop d'options autour en début de saison, mais les gens sont super gentils et prêts à aider. Directement sur la mer avec une eau super limpide !

Near oil refinery, very dirty, very old, dangerous
Google it, it is near Corinth oil refinery (MOTOR OIL HELLAS), so I did not swim there. Very old, very dirty, says parking, but u can't t find parking, because they let all the village to park there (to get money from their restaurant obviously). No safety, no hygiene rules. Danger of robberies due to lack of security measures. Wouldn't t recommend it, not even to my enemies.

Hotel is extremely dated. Sign in the elevator asks guests not to use A/C above 25 degrees Celsius (77F!) so as not to trigger a blackout. Beds are awful - hard & lumpy. Received only a single sheet for bed covering. The beach is nice. Water very clear. Lounge chairs on the beach mostly old and uncomfortable and in need of replacing.

Hôtel plutôt modeste au bord d'une plage agréable. On entend peu le trafic autoroutier au dessus. Chambres assez spacieuses, fonctionnelles. Hôtes très accueillants.

Jolie dame fatiguée - Allez-y quand même
L'hôtel SUN fait de la peine. Il a dû être super, mais le manque d'entretien fend le coeur. Remarquablement situé directement en bord de plage, il aligne des chambres dotées de larges terrasses donnant sur la mer. Sur le devant de l'hôtel, large terrasse au bord de la mer, donnant sur la très grande et très propre plage privée de l'hôtel avec matelas fatigués et parasols, permettant la baignade dans une mer d'un bleu magique et ultra limpide. La température de l'eau y est plus douce que dans le reste du Péloponnèse et bien entendu que dans les Cyclades. La baignade y est magique. Bref, tout serait idyllique si le bâtiment, les rambardes, les locaux, les portes, etc, étaient repeints et remis correctement en état. Matelas qui ont du caractère. Toujours ce confort spartiate décidément. Accueil charmant. Environs pas folichons. C'est en quelque sorte la banlieue d'Athènes. En résumé, bonne solution sans chichis pour une étape en allant à Athènes ou en la quittant.

An amazing hotel with wonderful beach .
Very nice and cozy hotel ! Amazing beach in front of the hotel. You could have drinks and something to eat at the beach too so you don’t need to go outside too much. The hotel have private and safe parking. Very friendly people working there , the feeling was that it’s a family business. Really great price if you think that the rooms have daily cleaning , air conditioning, private parking and private beach . Restaurant and bar at one place ! I’ll go there soon :)

A notre arrivée nous n'avons pas eu la chambre que nous avions réservé sur le site. L'hôtel est vieillissant et pas propre. L'hygiène est à revoir Le personnel est plutôt sympathique. L'hôtel se trouve dans une zone qui a brûlée donc il ne faut pas s'attendre à des paysages verdoyants. Les photos sur le site sont trompeuses... Heureusement la vue sur la mer a sauvé notre séjour.

The property is nothing like it looks in the pictures. It is in need of a major update. Beds are not comfortable and Baths are small and very dated. Not recommended if you are exp2cting anything more than a 2 star hotel.

The road to the Sun Hotel is blocked during the busy season with parked cars. Very hard to get thru to the Hotel. They were not timely in returning our passport and we hard to go back later to get it. Not acceptable.

Hôtel bien situé, a 45 mon en voiture d Athènes environ. Les pieds dans l eau ! L hôtel est vieillissant, matelas et chambre un peu vieux. Personnel sympathique, ne parle pas français. Petit déjeuner correct. On peut manger au snack, porc, poisson, ou glaces et boissons, corrects pour des prix 7, ou 8 euros le plat. La mer est très claire avec des poissons. Région a visiter, Corinthe, Megare, ou Loutarki.

We arrived at the train station and called our driver to pick us up, he told us under 5 minutes and was there in 20, he was in a small car, we loaded our luggage then he told us he wanted to wait for the next train in half hour because that train had another couple staying at the hotel. We told him no way another couple and their luggage would fit in his car (as it was very small) and after some arguing we were off. Scariest drive of my life. We almost got in multiple accidents. We got to the hotel to check in and his wife greeted us and asked which name our reservation was under, we said both because we were unsure which one. She told us unless we knew which one we couldn't stay so we looked it up. Then she said she needed our passports for verification and after we let her see them she said she'd be keeping them till the end of our stay. We argued said she could take a copy if she absolutely needed but no way in hell was she keeping our passports. Then she said our reservation was only for one person not two and proceeded to argue again. It got to the point we had to go into Expedia and pull it up and show her and she still wouldn't believe us. After a ridiculous amount of arguing and despite us paying for a queen she gave us two singles. The room itself was cute, no arguments there, bed was hard, wifi didn't work but it had an adorable balcony out to the beach. The beach itself was perfection, so cute, such clear water, we were there at sunset and it was amazing.

Μονωήμερη ξεκούραση σε σχετικά κοντινό σημείο
Στο ξενοδοχείο πήγαμε για μια μονοήμερη διαμονή και συγκεκριμένα τη Δευτέρα 27 Μαΐου 2019 είναι αρκετά παλιό και χρήζει σημαντικών ανακαινίσεων καθώς και επισκευών, υπάρχει περιθώριο για βελτίωσης. Η τιμή των 50€ που χρεώθηκα για 2 άτομα είναι αρκετά υψηλή για την κατάσταση του.

Ευχαριστούμε για τα σχόλια σας . Απλά επισημάνουμε ότι στην τιμή των 50 ευρώ για δίκλινο δωμάτιο περιλαμβάνε τα πρωινό , ομπρέλες, ξαπλώστρες στην παραλία και όλα τα δωμάτια έχουν θέα στην θάλασσα.

Familiäres Hotel direkt am Strand
Unser Aufenthalt war ein absoluter Traum, das Hotel liegt direkt an einem wunderschönen Kieselstrand (für Griechenland typisch) mit kristallklarem Wasser. Wirklich beim Schnorcheln kann man unter Wasser 30m weit sehen, jede Menge Fische einfach ein Traum. Das inbegriffene Frühstück war einfach aber schmackhaft, für zwischen durch kann man einfach immer wieder etwas von der Karte bestellen, besonders der frische Fisch ist zu empfehlen. Kommen wir zum absoluten Highlight des Hotel und das ist das Personal, besonderen Gruß an Costas😉 vom Service bis zum früheren checkout (unser Flug ging sehr früh und es ist doch etwas weit vom Hotel zum Flughafen) es war alles perfekt! Jederzeit freundlich, immer zuvorkommend und auch mal Zeit für ein privates Gespräch die Leute nehmen sich immer Zeit für die Bedürfnisse der Gäste. Gratis Transfer zum Bahnhof war ebenfalls inbegriffen. Wegen dem früheren checkout hat man uns sogar den vollen Preis erstattet anstatt der üblichen 40%. Fazit. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits aber wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Für das leibliche Wohl ist bestens gesorgt. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen!

Would never book again
Booked for 5 days stayed for 1. When we arrived the lady at the front desk was covered in flies, this should have told us to leave but we stayed and unpacked. We ordered food and when we sat down our food was covered in flies, couldn't even eat. We immediately packed and found a hotel in Glyfada.

Thank you Kostas and family for taking care of us. He stuck around and took us in even when we checked in late after a whole day of trodding around Acropolis and Athens Mall. The hotel building is quite old yet I know the family that runs it keeps it in check. The beach was beautiful with very clear yet cold waters. We came early June. The beach restaurant serves great seafood, coffee, and sandwiches in what seems like a five-star setting. All rooms face the ocean so our balcony has a million dollar view.
