I can't believe this house is an option to stay in while in Athens. It is beautiful, spotless and so incredible. The pictures in the listing don't do it justice. This house is right in the middle of Plaka, steps from all the eating and shopping you'd want. The host, Alexandros, is very attentive and was happy to answer any trip planning questions we had. He was even kind enough to arrange a shuttle for my family of 6 from the airport and then met us personally to make sure we were settled. We were also so grateful to find snacks on the counter and in the refrigerator after such a long flight. This property deserves more than 5 stars. I highly recommend it. It made our trip so convenient. Can't wait to come back someday. ❤️

This place is fantastic. Clean, nicely presented, layout is perfect, location is perfect. Close to everything. Host is wonderful. There isn't one thing that could be better. It exceeded expectations. It truly is a lovely place with everything you could want.

Alexandros, owner, was the most amazing property host. He was available from the moment we booked En Plaka through check out. He responds promptly with great detail. He arranged our transportation from the Airport for six of us with lots of luggage and then to the cruise terminal at the end of our stay. The property itself is beautiful. It is the highest quality furnishings and property we have ever rented. Alexandros provided us with starter fruits, wine and other snacks. Everything about this property was wonderful and the location is phenomenal, 5 minutes from the Acropolis and 1 minute from shopping and dining. The hop on/ off bus is about 5 minutes away. He provided lots of tips for food, drink and activities. We felt very safe and cared for as guests.

Amazing Stay in Plaka!!

We had an amazing visit in Athens for our family of 7. Our host Alexandros was so helpful from time of booking answering all questions and providing many recommendations and details of the neighborhood and city. Upon our early arrival he personally greeted us to tour the home and store our luggage so we could simply start enjoying our visit in Plaka. The home is spectacular! Each room was filled with many special historical touches as well as practical items to make our stay effortless! Full kitchen, laundry machines, snacks and refreshments, phone chargers in each room…no detail was missed!!The home is just steps away from all the shops and restaurants and everything we wanted to see or do was within easy and safe walking distance!Thank you Alexandros for making our stay in Athens perfect!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

The home was more than we could have asked for ! Location , the host, price, comfort ….extremely clever in its appointments! Uber clean! Tech savy and fun lights!!! To actually be in a home with ruins in your basement and beautifully shown was just amazing! Our group can’t stop raving about it. Alexandros was so accommodating … we wanted for nothing! Athens was at our fingertips! Can’t say enough good things about this home and the host! Will definitely stay here again or any home Alexandria has to offer! Don’t miss it!

one of the best properties in Athens.

The host is wonderful and the house if perfect for a group. the amenities and finishings are modern and suited to American and European travelers. The home is beautiful and the location cannot be beat. The welcome gifts that were left by the host were a touch above and beyond - true Greek Hospitality. 10/10. Will book this space again.

Amazing stay in Plaka! This is the perfect apartment!

This place is perfect. I have stayed at many very nice rentals around the world, but En Plaka is the best.The location is superb; we walked everywhere. We appreciated the host's passion and respect for the location's rich history, as evidenced by the beautifully preserved mosaic and other nice touches. The house is quiet and private, but the neighborhood is lively and has everything you need. You are a three minute walk from great bakeries and coffee shops (we liked one called Ipanema). Alex, the host, arranged fantastic transportation for us, and has the house set up like a dream. Every time we thought that we needed something, we opened a drawer, and there it was. All of the furniture, dishes, and cooking supplies are high-end.Our family made use of the ensuite bedrooms and enjoyed eating meals and playing games at the big table and comfortable living room. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we get a chance to come to Athens.

Perfect in every way!

From the location, to the layout of the property and cleanliness, this house is absolutely amazing! I have zero criticism. The host is very accessible and accommodating, a super nice guy with great recommendations. He helped line up a driver to/from the airport (the same price or better than I could find online, so stop shopping and book it). The house is incredible. It looks brand new and everything worked as expected. It has everything you’d need, dishwasher, nespresso and coffee makers, a well equipped kitchen for anyone that wants to cook, washer and dryer, blow dryers, toiletries, etc. The AC is nice and cold, the beds are really high quality and comfortable. The house is super clean and has a great layout with en-suite bathrooms. The mosaic in the basement and other artifacts are too cool. There was plenty of space for six adults. The location could not be any better. It is right in the middle of Plaka, yet on a short side street, which means there is very little foot traffic and no cars in front of the house. You can walk for 2 minutes and be shopping or at a restaurant. There is a market and a pharmacy within 4 minutes. All the major tourist destinations are about 5 to 10 minutes walk. This property is really right in the middle of it all, but it still feels quiet and sheltered. In summary, I am so glad we stumbled upon this property. If this fits your budget and has the right amount of beds for you, I don’t think you can go wrong with this house.

πολύ όμορφο Amazing property in the heart of Athens

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and the owner, Alexandros. The property is clean and updated and Alexandros made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. It is conveniently located in En Plaka. We had 5 adults but we could have easily had more guests. Washer and dryer is a bonus we could not have done without. Thank you so much Alexandros for making our holiday amazing.

Outstanding

This is an amazing place. Beautiful, clean, spacious and a great location within the Plaka. Alexandro truly understands hospitality. He is an unbelievable host. He went out of his way to drive with me to return my rental car and walk back with me. At least 45 minutes out of his day. He arranged all transportation for us as well. This is the Four Seasons of VRBO stays. 10 stars.
