Cozy log cabin in Lake Community.

  • Cozy log cabin located on a quiet cul-de-sac, this is the relaxing get away you have been looking for! Hang out on the covered front porch in the rocking chairs or enjoy the back deck that is nestled in the woods. Open Floorplan with a new kitchen, quartz counters, and new appliances. Two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen, one with bunk beds. Upstairs in the loft you'll find a king and a half bath. The finished basement has reclaimed barnwood walls, a large couch, recliner, 65 inch roku Tv, dartboard and a popcorn machine!
    We are part of the private Sleepy Hollow Lake community where you will have access to amenities such as a lakeside beach, two pools, playground, tennis, pickleball, volleyball and basketball courts. Please note- use of these facilities are limited to Sleepy Hollow Lake members, so guests will be provided wristbands and a key card for access.
    We are 20 minutes to Historic Hudson where you can stroll their main street and find multiple restaurants to enjoy. If you visit in wintertime, we are appropriately 45 minutes to Hunter or Windham mountains.

Fabulous house. Cozy. Clean. Great AC (we stayed during the 100 degree heatwave). All the amenities you could need. Owners were fabulous, communicating along the way and accessible.

Awesome cabin in the Catskills

We stayed for a fall wedding in Hudson. Val is an amazing host and the property and cabin were impeccable. Excellent place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

We had an amazing time at Val’s cabin. It’s is full of amenities. The cabin offers a private secluded feel yet it is just a few streets away from the lake beach area, pool and kayak rental or launch. Great place to just relax or do many of the activities available.. we picked up playing pickleball. Thank you again for a great stay!

Great Getaway

We had a great time at this property. The host was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The house is immaculate and has several fun spaces to spend time with family and friends. We will definitely go back.

We loved this log cabin. Very quiet, clean, and well appointed. The decor is very thoughtful, with a bear and deer theme running throughout. Kitchen is new and well-stocked. The finished basement has a game table with pacman, donkey kong and other games. A dart board as well and a popcorn machine. Great space. It's located in a private lake community, with access to all the community amenities. The pool was great and then tennis courts are in very good condition. Lots of nearby hiking options. We will definitely consider coming back again. Val was very communicative and check-in was simple.

Our stay in the Catskills was honestly so peaceful and refreshing. From the moment we arrived, the whole place felt calm, quiet, and perfect for truly disconnecting and relaxing. The location was ideal—close to what we needed, but still private and serene, which made the experience even more special.The kindness of the host really stood out to me. They were so warm and thoughtful, and it made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. That small but meaningful touch made the trip feel even more beautiful.Overall, this was such a restful and memorable getaway, and I would absolutely stay here again. I truly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in the Catskills.

Weekend Away

We really enjoyed this beautiful and cozy home! The house was clean and had a fun set up in the basement for movies and games. It was a quick drive to Hudson.

Amazing place. Quiet and private. Close to pool and lake. Outdoor ate and grille were great. Darts Pac-Man and cornhole kept the kids busy. Kitchen was well appointed. Best I’ve stayed at. Valerie was great to work with.

Wonderful stay

My wife, son, and I couldn’t have been more comfortable in this beautiful cabin and community. We loved hanging out on the back porch and playing games in the basement. Nice location - short drives to ski in Windham and dine in Hudson. Thanks again for a memorable stay, and we hope to be back soon.

Amazing getaway

Amazing property that lets you disconnect from the city! Amazing deck on the back that you can relax and just enjoy the quiet. The downstairs game room is great way to spend time with the family! Easy check in and check out process, great communication with host!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend in the Log Cabin! The cabin is cozy and quaint with every modern amenity. Well stocked kitchen although we ate out everyday! Great restaurants and shopping in Athens and Hudson. This is an ideal location to explore everything the Hudson Valley has to offer. We would recommend to our friends and definitely stay again.

Fantastic Getaway

My group had a wonderful stay at Val’s cabin. The place was private, comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the basement and the back deck. And of course the kids loved the community swimming pool. Val was super communicative and check-in and checkout could not have been easier. I would definitely stay again.

Sweet cabin in the woods

This cabin was a great base for our two week stay upstate. It has lots of little extras that made it very comfortable, like the finished basement with big TV, nice grill, washer/dryer, and two full baths. The kids really enjoyed the pool and beach and we got a bonus when we were able to watch the July 4th celebration in the lake community -- it was really a nice show!

Lovely stay in a lovely community!

The house was even better than the images! Cozy, but also nice and very well maintained. The amenities in the community were perfect for a low key weekend - pool, lake, etc. Athens is under 10 mins and Hudson is 20 mins and so cute! We really had the best weekend!

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The retro video games were our favorite. Nice public lake/pool. The cabin is cute, clean and spacious. It was stocked with dishes, cooking pots/pans, etc. Great communication from property owner.

We had a wonderful experience

We had a lovely time gathering for a small college reunion. The house was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed the amenities. It was clean, the property was very well maintained and the owner quickly responded to my questions and needs. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. We will be back.

Weekend Getaway

Loved staying at this house. Very comfortable and well stocked. Owner was very helpful in helping us navigate the area. Back deck, basement and front porch were great hang out areas. My husband loved the game machine. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again. Maria

Great location, lots to do

We really enjoyed our stay here - great cabin with everything you need, kids especially loved the popcorn machine! The host, Val, was really responsive to our questions and it’s a great area with plenty to do. We enjoyed a trip to Catamount Mountain (40 minutes) to the aerial adventure, Hudson for shopping and restaurants and Kaaterskill Falls hike. Lake and pool access were also wonderful. Highly recommend!
