Family European Trip

Amazing is the best way to describe it. From the initial booking until departure, Dimitri and Fotini were extremely responsive. They provided excellent guidance to things to see, when to go, places to eat. Between that and the wonderful home, it made an amazing ending to a great two week family trip.

Over all the apartment was great. Loved the roof top pool, area felt safe, was quiet. We felt very comfortable leaving the windows and doors open for fresh air even when we weren’t home. Host was very helpful in helping us arrange transportation to and from the airport as well as giving us tips on things to do in the local area

Fantastic property and host

The flat has stunning views from the roof and pool, very comfortable stay. And the host Dimitris is wonderful, helpful and a great ambassador to those visiting Athens.

We had a wonderful stay! We were arriving from a cruise ship and the host helped arrange transportation to the Penthouse. He and his assistant met us there to go through the property and answer any questions. He reviewed a map of the city and recommended places to visit, and helped us to set up a driver for a trip to the beach in Sounion. Very nice property, and wonderful host!

Fantastic 360 view of Athens

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were only 2 of us but definitely room for a bigger group! The pool was great with many outdoor snd indoor dining areas and places to relax! The owner was gracious and available for our questions.

Cant beat the private pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Demetris was extremely hospitable and assisted us with transfers and restaurant recommendations The penthouse was fully equipped and located in a very nice neighborhood. The private pool was fabulous. Great place for a small group or family. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful apartment with your own private pool!

Spacious apartment with amazing private pool on the rooftop- views of Athens are breathtaking. The owner had great communication and the welcome bottle of wine & fruit was much appreciated.

Beautiful rooftop view

The property is in a great and safe location near the U.S. embassy. The apartment occupies the third floor and rooftop of the building, including a beautiful rooftop pool and large shaded patio area surrounded by a rooftop garden. I highly recommend!

Beautiful property and excellent host

Dimitris went above and beyond by arranging cars for us, recommending places to go and even sitting down with my family with a map! The home is beautiful and the view from the pool at night is breathtaking!

Fantastic Pool Oasis in Lycabettus

Dmitris was a fantastic host. The property was in a great location, and the roof top pool was stunning. The big surprise was Dmitris art and book collection throughout the unit. Clean, safe, and family friendly.

Great start to our trip!

Dimitris was the best host! Great communication before our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed to begin our trip. He met us at his property and made sure we felt like we were at home. Can’t recommend the property or host more highly. We will be back!

The pool is a nice feature - particularly in the heat of July25. The bedrooms and showers are small. The beds were extremely hard, which made sleeping difficult. The property was not clean to a standard we would expect. We did not appreciate are unannounced visit by the owner.

Great location just out of the hustle an bustle

Great location just far way enough from major attractions that you could escape when it was time to relax back at the home. Backs to a park with trails for exercise or relaxation. The upstairs pool area had a great view and plenty of room to sit and enjoy the pool and surroundings. Safe to walk around. Spacious and open layout.

Athens Adventure

Dimitris was a wonderful host but property was somewhat dated and hard to navigate with party of 4 older individuals. 2 bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs with stone staircase with no handrail.Centrally located and safe neighborhood. Enjoyed it overall.

Great penthouse

we were a family of 5 and the apartment was very cosy and spacious for all of us. A real home away home. Thanks to our lovely host we had a filled fridge on arrival, so didnt have to start with grocery shopping. Location is perfect for visiting Athens, and taxi fare is way cheaper that in other cities. Thank you Dimitris for making our stay perfect. I will recoomend your place to everyone visiting Athens 😃

Athen rooftop sanctuary

We love the apartment, great place to stay. The rooftop has a great view, sitting area and pool. It was relaxing and enjoyable. Right across from a hill with a church and restaurant at the top where you can take a short hike to have even more beautiful views of the city. Dimitris was great and extremely helpful in making arrangements to and from everywhere we needed to go. He was very communicative before and during our stay. Many thanks Dimitris!

Great Host

Dimitri was very accomodating. He had a very nice welcome to our trip. The pool was amaizing! The only feature that needs a little work is the stairs to the pool. I think there needs to be a hand rail for going up and down the stairs as the third bedroom is upstairs. But overall the apartment is amaizing and we would highly reccomend it!

Spectacular place and a wonderful host!

The penthouse apartment is exactly as advertised. It is a great place. It is very spacious - both the inside quarters as well as the outside areas with the beautiful pool and landscaped decks. Dimitris is a charming host and extremely attentive and helpful. We truly appreciated him welcoming to the apartment and to the city. He gave us great suggestions of what to do and help arrange some transportation. We found the location in the Lycabettus Hill area to be perfect. It's a lovely and peaceful area. We could not have been more pleased with our stay and highly recommend it.

Entspannter Städtetrip mit Kindern

Wir waren mit 2 Kindern im Appartement und haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Die Wohnung ist geräumig mit einer schönen Terrasse und einer sehr großen Dachterrasse mit tollem Pool. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher, die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen. Dimitris ist immer erreichbar und möchte, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Das Kinderzimmer hat eine niedrige Decke, die drei Bäder sind sehr klein. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend gelegen. Man kommt für 6 Euro mit dem Taxi nach Plaka. Das Appartement ist voll ausgestattet (Handtücher, Nespesso, ...).

Beautiful views from Lycabettus Hill

Nice penthouse on the top two floors of an apartment building on the east side of Lycabettus Hill (a big park across the street). It was away from the busy tourist areas but within 1/2 mile from many nice neighborhood restaurants to the west. It had easy access to the downtown sites and we were also within a 1/2 of the City-Sightseeing bus stop 8 (by the National Gallery). The penthouse was beautiful and very well furnished. The layout was nice and huge balconies everywhere! Maybe 5! The host was very welcoming and was very quick to help us with WiFi. Great location to reach popular tourist areas, only 5 euro to most places by taxi/Uber. I would definitely recommend!

Lovely, magical stay in Athens

We highly recommend the luxurious Lycabettus Hill penthouse for your Athens visit! Dimitris offers fabulous hospitality and a gorgeous, quiet and secure home for your comfort. We were in Athens for 4 nights in late July with our 9 1/2 year old granddaughter on a quest to learn about Greco-Roman culture, mythology and ancient history in preparation for her school curriculum. The penthouse was our sanctuary with a well-equipped kitchen for enjoying meals, laundry facilities if needed, very comfortable beds and living area, and la pièce de résistance: the rooftop pool, where we enjoyed every spare moment! Dimitris is a friendly, sophisticated host; and extremely well-traveled, knowledgeable and accommodating with requests. We appreciated his offer to provide a driver for ATH transfer, as well. And, we deeply appreciate that he worked with us to retrieve a forgotten item. Our deepest gratitude to Dimitris and his warm hospitality. Until we meet again! (“9 1/2!”)
