What a lovely apartment! While it is in a neighborhood busy with tourists, the apartment is quiet. It sits on a busy pedestrian street lined with small attractive restaurants. Nearby on back streets are wonderful small markets, such as Fruitopia, and the excellent Takis Bakery. Many museums are within walking distance. The apartment itself is spotless-- absolutely spotless-- well lit and comfortable. Haidi has provided some guidebooks for reference and other books of interest about Greece. The balcony is our favorite feature for early breakfast to watch the street come to life and at night to see the beautifully lit Parthenon and Acropolis Museum. Priced very fairly, the apartment is a wonderful choice. We hope to be back next fall. I should add that Haidi is an excellent host.

Greece Vacation with Stay in Athens

We finished up a 2 week trip to Greece with a 3 night stay in Athens at Haidi's Apartment. Her place is directly across the street from the Acropolis Muesum and perfectly situated for touring Athens. The view of the Parthenon especially at night is beautiful. Restaurants are all around and everything is very convenient. The apartment is set up perfectly and Haidi is a wonderful host. We highly recommend staying there if you visit Athens.

Absolutely fabulous trip to Athens. This apartment is in the best location to everything. Great communication with Haidi. She lined up a ride from the airport and made sure we were doing well. The place was super comfortable and clean. There were three of us and plenty of room the place also was very nicely stocked. The deck is over restraints and local walkway which was lovely if you wanted to hear the sounds of the evening. Yet when you close the doors it was quiet to sleep. I would recommend to everyone and definitely come back!

Four Days in Athens Ahead of Andros Island

First four of what will be 12 total days enjoying the Hellenic Republic. This portion of the visit also included a day trip to Thermopylae, Meteora, and Delphi. Accommodation was exactly as pictured including its proximity to the Acropolis and the museum as well as ease of walking access to the Agora, the Parliament, the Panathenaic Stadium, etc. Thoroughly enjoyable visit that we would change nothing about. It was the right time of the year (before the heat), the location was perfect (near so much history), and the accommodation just what we expected.

Beautiful apartment with a great view

Perfect place for two couples. Nice front balcony with great view and people watching. Beautiful bathrooms and comfortable beds. Host was friendly, helpful and quick with assistance.

Perfect Location, Wonderful

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The apartment was updated and in great condition. Fully stocked kitchen, two spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Incredible view of the Acropolis and Temple of Apollo, and easy access to the Acropolis Museum. Despite being in the middle of vibrant pedestrian area with many restaurant choices available, the room was very quiet. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a visit to Athens.

Beautiful apartment and fantastic location!

I stayed here with my husband and two kids for a night. The location was incredible - so close to the Acropolis and surrounded by lots of restaurants. The apartment was beautiful, luxurious, and so clean. The communication with the owner was great. I would highly recommend it.

Haidi the host was extremely helpful. She stayed in communication entire time , connected us with car service from airport and then to cruise port . One week later she also helped us get car service after our cruise to airport. The apartment was very beautiful and perfect location We will definitely return

Athens - 19-21 Makrigianni Apartment

Arrived in Athens for a 3 day stay with my wife and two children (age 18 & 21) after spending a week in Rhodes on a family vacation in Greece. The apartment is exceptional and is highly recommended. It is modern and clean and spacious in an ideal location. Walk directly out of the apartment and you are surrounded by outdoor restaurants and cobblestone streets in the heart of the Plaka. Wonderful shops, restaurants, bakeries and taverns all in the shadow of the Acropolis with historical temples at every turn all within walking distance.

Amazing location, wonderful property!

We stayed at this property in Jun'24. We loved the location, which is literally walking distance from the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis, Plaka, Zeus monument, and many other must-see places in Athens. The views of the Acropolis from this property are amazing! The property is also located on a boulevard full with restaurants and shops, which was very convenient during the day and quiet at night. Finally, the host was very responsive, flexible, and helpful troughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again, next time I visit Athens!

Haidi was amazing!

I have to start my review with Haidi. She was amazing from start to finish. I contacted her multiple times with varying questions all with prompt and thoughtful answers. She was nothing short of an amazing host. The apartment was modern and well furnished and in the heart of the city within walking distance to the acropolis and restaurants and other sites. Fabulous location and apartment

We just spent 8 days in Haidi’s modern and beautiful apartment. Wonderful view of the Acropolis and Parthenon from the living room, main bedroom and big balcony. Lots of room to spread out. Access was quick and easy. Elevator to the second (3rd) floor, yay! Haidi responded immediately to all emails and kindly organized our taxi transfers. The location was awesome, next to the gorgeous Acropolis Museum and walking distance to all the main sites and neighborhoods. Great, friendly restaurants downstairs on Makrygianni Street. Very quiet, well equipped kitchen, very clean. The two bedrooms had ensuites, lovely. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Vacation Stay / Excellent Host

This apartment is beautifully modern and relaxing. The balcony has a stunning view of the Acropolis.
