Excelente estadía

El lugar es impecable; mucho más lindo que lo que las fotos muestran. Nuestra anfitriona Leticia siempre mantuvo una comunicación expedita y muy amable . El ingreso es de lo más fáciles que he tenido . El lugar llenó mis expectativas al 200%, el clima nos ofreció un poco de todo : sol, lluvia , neblina a una muy buena temperatura, pero con ese paisaje se está feliz con cualquiera. Estoy complacida por volver y lo he recomendado a mis amigos cercanos . Solo pregunten por la calefacción de la piscina ! Muchas gracias Diana por hacer un lugar realmente acogedor y listo para tener todo lo necesario para pasar en un paraíso tranquilo y con una vista maravillosa . Gracias Leticia por tu trato tan amable

We’ve just arrived home and are filled to the brim with memories of La Luna Vista. This is a beautifully tranquil space, with hypnotizing views, and all the privacy and comforts that you hope for on vacation, but don’t often find. It’s a very special place. This was our second visit and much too short! As before, Leticia, Darwin and team greeted us warmly and were helpful when needed, thank you! Sweet Chico…we will be back! And to Diana, thank you so much, we’ll be in touch about a much longer stay next time. As I said last time…La Luna Vista is pure magic….

The view from this property is incredible...a private 180 degree span. One can find sun or shade at any time in the day and the spacious, heated pool was a treat. Leticia, the property manager, is a delight. She stocked the fridge for us, which was an enormous help given our late arrival time. And she took care of any little glitch with efficiency and grace.The layout, with well separated bedrooms really suited us. Early risers didn't disturb others.Our only concern was this was not the ideal property for our party, given that we were a group of 4 seniors, one with mild mobility issues. The 17 exterior stairs down to the second bedroom came as a bit of a surprise. Combined with the stairs to/from the parking area, this posed some logistical challenges. The indoor furnishings, which we may have found acceptable some years ago, were simply not comfortable now. Thanks goodness for the Costa Rican rocking chairs!And if a TV is important to you be aware that guests need to access streaming platforms on their own devices.Overall, this property would work very well for adults/young seniors who want the peace and serenity Bali Dream View offers while they explore this magnificent area of Costa Rica.

If I could give more than 5 stars for the Bali Dream View home I would. First while the pictures of the home are absolutely stunning, in actuality the place and the views literally took our breath away when we walked in. Second, Leticia was so incredibly responsive and kind. I thought I was asking way too many questions but no matter what, she responded so quickly and was so spot on with her response. Darwin was so quick to come help with anything we needed. Atenas is the cutest town, centrally located but far enough away that you have privacy and quiet. The people there are super kind and the climate was absolutely perfect. I recommend renting a vehicle from Vamos for your stay. They were amazing, reasonably priced, and also very responsive. The mountain roads can seem tricky at first if you’re not used to it, but were very navigable.

The home was absolutely gorgeous, and the view was spectacular! We truly enjoyed our stay — peaceful, private, and even more beautiful in person.We did have an issue with the lower unit toilet leaking water, which caused a mild mildew odor, but it was addressed as best as possible during our stay. It didn’t take away from the overall experience. The main living room couch could use an update, though it certainly didn’t affect our enjoyment.Our driver, Alvero, was amazing — patient, friendly, and very accommodating. Leticia was also wonderful to work with, always responsive and helpful before and during our visit.Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We left relaxed and happy and would absolutely recommend this Costa Rica getaway to others!

The pictures in this listing look amazing so we were excited to see the property in person. I will say that it did not disappoint. The beautiful house, and the gorgeous view, were everything you see in the pics and more. The privacy of the location, along with the gorgeous decor, make this spot a wonderful refuge. Admittedly, its location makes some of the drives to tourist spots like La Fortuna and La Paz a bit far. But waking up to that spectacular view every morning made it all worth it.The hosts were very gracious, communicative, and hospitable. I highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in this region of Costa Rica.

Pro: Amazing views! Very kind and responsive property manger. She helped us secure a rental car and an airport taxi service, prior to arrival. In addition offered suggestions of places to explore in Costa Rica Con: The property is not one house, but rather three detached separate bedrooms, and a main house. Upon arriving the property manager explained that they have bats at night, and they get inside. We had lots of bat fecal matter. She further explained, the hot tub was a bathtub and did not get very hot, which was very disappointing. The pool was listed as a heated pool, which was very appealing to my young kids, however, upon arrival it was clarified that it’s only heated by the solar panels, therefore very cold at night. The location is down a very steep hill, and requires a car to do anything. Not remotely walkable to any store or restaurant. There are several animals (cats and dogs) that roam the property. Which made cooking a challenge, as we had to close the open air doors to keep them out. They often peed along the walkways to bedrooms. We asked the groundskeeper to remove animals, but that did not happen, so we adjusted.Overall we enjoyed the views, and made the best of the situation. This location is ideal for three adult couples or families with grown children. We encourage them to update their property description.

Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed Diana's Atenas home. Leticia and Darwin were wonderful resources and became friends. It was such a joy to sit on the verandas, enjoy a cool drink and soak in the fabulous views. Leticia was welcoming and a source for all things wonderful. Darwin was very attentive and made sure everything was always right with the home and surrounding areas.

Unbelievably Gorgeous

Our first time in CR and this place blew us away! Beautiful everywhere you turn. Perfect for our family with older kids, as all the bedrooms are very private from each other. We loved the decor, the privacy, the views, everything. I especially enjoyed the house cat and dogs that visited us each day. We saw geckos and all types of birds. Just fantastic. Thank you!

Best Trip Ever!

The listing on VRBO does not do this place justice... it is way nicer than we even thought it would be! It's a fantastic home in an amazing setting. The location was excellent as well. Our host was so helpful as well! We highlight recommend staying here to anyone!

Amazing Property

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. There is no need for air conditioning being high up. No bugs at all! A lot of folks wrote comments about the steep road up to the house, which almost turned me off from booking it. The driveway is paved and while steep not an issue at all. Not sure why anyone would mention it. Fantastic place to rent. We will definitely be back. There are three rooms, each with their own queen beds and bathrooms.

A Zen getaway

We so enjoyed our 4 weeks in this beautiful home. So very peaceful, with total privacy, a lovely view and ever-changing cloudscapes. The layout of the home was perfect for us... an open living area, with lots of terrace, and three nicely separated bedrooms with their own private patios.

Amazing Get Away!

We loved our stay! The property is located in a safe community and we enjoyed our time in town as well. The view was unbeatable, the pictures don't really do it justice! Everyone was incredibly helpful right from the initial communication with the host to the local folks to help us navigate any questions we had. I truly can't say enough about what a great group of people we worked with. The house itself had everything you need. There are three bedrooms all separated from the common room (one downstairs through the out door stair case). This was great for privacy. We were two families traveling together, so we put the kids (all teens) in one room leaving the other two for parents. Kids loved the pool. Views from everywhere. We enjoyed the drives to the various sites - gave a great perspective of the country. I would happily visit again.

Superb Overall Experience

The surreal views, active birds, location, property features, and helpful staff are why we came back for a second time. We enjoyed a combination of active days where we loved the central location to explore Costa Rica, close to home days to enjoy Atenas and live like a local, and home days where we enjoyed coffee, the pool, and having a chef come in to prepare meals. Highly recommend!

Very Nice Place!

This place was not what we expected.....it was more! Picture don't do this place or the area justice. This place sit just about 5-6 mins outside of the nearest city Athena but a completely different area then what you see driving through the city. It's not a "touristy" city and not every one in town speaks English. Mostly had trouble in the smaller shops but most bigger places to eat shop you can get by. The only real surprise we had was due to the home being surrounded by nature the way it is you are up around 5 am everyday. There's no shades or curtains and your rooms have many windows so when the sun is up so are you. Again, due to the location you will have bugs around. I don't think it matters where you stay it's a thing. Overall we loved the privacy and location of this home and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing Rainforest Oasis

We could not have asked for a better stay in Atenas! This beautiful property is a secret hideaway and a wonderful way to experience the true beauty of Costa Rica. The property manager was so helpful and attentive and the owners seem to have thought of everything a visitor could want! Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and plenty of space to spread out but enjoy time together. We’ve already started planning our next visit!
