The perfect hideaway

My siblings and I rented this with our spouses for a quick 3 day family gathering. The space was EXTREMELY clean well stocked, and in an incredible setting. The house offered many different comfy hang out spots, each absolutely perfect for sitting around and catching up.*my only note, not really a complaint: the email sent out prior to arrival mentioned that wifi was not available on the property. We were all super pleasantly surprised, we would just hate to see someone not give this incredible home a chance, not knowing the service was available 100% would love to stay here again

Perfect river retreat

House is very clean & nicely remodeled. We truly had a great vacay in the home. Perfect for fishing trips or just hanging out. Very responsive host for our questions. We’ll be grabbing this one again next year!

And Fun was had by All

We loved our location and the closeness of nature. We especially enjoyed fishing from the dock and visiting the nearby state parks. We also did short day trips to the coast to Daytona Beach and Cape Canaveral. The house itself is nicely decorated and updated. The big yard was great for the kids to exercise and play.

Great Stay!

The house was very clean and well stocked. There was WiFi and a smart tv. The corner lot was very quiet. This was a wonderful place to stay and we could definitely stay there again!

Enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The property was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed fishing in the canal and watching a group of turkeys move from yard to yard and fly across the canal. We brought our boat with us and it fit perfectly in the garage. Property now has a King, Queen and two twin beds. Wifi and a large screen TV but we never watched it. We were too busy relaxing. We ate dinner at Drifters. The atmosphere is nice because it’s by the river but the food was not that good. Two boat ramps were close by. Dollar General was also close by to pick up whatever items we forgot.

Great house.

We were scared at first glance because the outside is green but we absolutely loved it once we got inside. We wish the fish were biting but we had fun. Boat slip broken concrete scratched are Ranger Bass boat but was easy access to the river. The garage was big enough to house both boats so we could charge the batteries back up. Also we charged them in the boat slip too. Great lighting at night in the back yard by the canal. Loved this place!!!

Fishing trip

Need at least another queen size bed, repair ceiling fan that doesn’t work, provide basic cable at least, provide extra box fans. Repair lights on pier and exterior lights that don’t work.

Great Weekend getaway!

This house was really nice and had all the amenities we needed for our family trip. Saw 2 Manatees right off the back canal on the first evening! Enjoyed the cul-de-sac privacy and NO traffic! I have been around Astor off and on for 40 years, and this house and locale really does the old-time charm justice. Nothing to do in Astor but ride boats and fish, but hey, that’s what life is about. Went to Daytona one day, one hour away, and very convenient ! The house was very clean and all utensils and linens supplied were very nice! Beds were comfy as was couches. No cable TV but who needs that when you are watching the Manatees! We will definitely keep this on our Florida VRBO list for future stays to this area! The grill was nice and the yard very well kept. Thanks for your attention to detail! We will return soon!

Great location for our trip

We celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday with two close friends. We wanted a place with river access and a place to keep the boat. This house fit the bill perfectly, the in water boat house was perfect. The location on the canal right by the mouth of the river. Perfect for a get away with the boat

Astor house on the canal

Great location. We saw a gator swimming up and down the canal and sunning itself near the boat dock. No WiFi or cable. Seemed like the house had been empty for a while- quite possible with the pandemic. We enjoyed our stay.

Vacation Rental

We enjoyed this Astor vacation rental, on a canal, with a covered boat slip. We were allowed to use the private community boat ramp just a short distance away. The home was very clean and well furnished. The bathrooms look recently remodeled . No cable service but we did watch several movies on the DVD player. This rental is pet friendly with a very large yard. The owners are very friendly and we will book this property again.
