A Perfect Stay for 3 Generations of Our Family
We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful house just outside Assisi. Three generations of our family, including our 2 year old toddler and grandparents, were able to enjoy the space comfortably. The house is set in a stunning landscape with breathtaking views of the rolling hills and the peaceful countryside. Roberto, the host, was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We felt well cared for, and the attention to detail in the house made it feel like a true home away from home. We couldn't have asked for a better stay in this charming part of Italy. Highly recommend!

Perfect quiet location
The house is lovely and the owner was very responsive and helped with recommendations and help with whatever we needed. The rooms are large and spacious. The kitchen could use a renovation:)
The pool is clean and beautiful with great lounging options. The location is perfect - very quiet but 30 min walk to Assissi village.

What an amazing place!
My wife, three sons and I spent four days in the amazing home and absolutely loved everything about it. The house has a ton of space, a huge pool and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful views we have ever seen. Not to mention the endlessly fascinating wildlife! And to top it all off, Assisi in only minutes away. We will be coming back every year!

3 Wonderful Weeks at Casale Santa Margherita
For a 75th birthday celebration, we had 7 to 11 family and friends at the Casale over a 3-week period. We could not have been happier with the house and pool, and Roberto's helpfulness. The house is wonderful and spacious, with several nice porch areas. The pool is long enough for lap swimming, which was important to several in our party. Roberto cleaned the pool daily (quietly in the early morning), and it was sparkling. He was also quickly helpful when our rental car developed a flat tire, and we needed to communicate with the car agency and Roadside Assistance. The house had wonderful views of the Umbrian landscape, and was just around the corner from Assisi proper. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy, and sink gratefully into La Dolce Vita. Highly recommended.

Schöne Villa abseits Assisi
Wir waren eine Gruppe von 13 Freunden, die 9 Tage in der schönen Villa von Roberto und seiner Familie verbringen durften. Wir wurden von Roberto sehr nett Empfangen. Jeder Zeit konnten wir uns bei Fragen zum Haus, Anreise, Umgebung etc. bei Roberto melden und bekamen sehr schnell eine Rückmeldung. Man hat sehr gemerkt wie sehr er sich um seine Gäste kümmert. Wir werden den Urlaub sehr positiv in Erinnerung behalten. Vielen Dank!

Lovely country home in Assisi
We had a wonderful stay in Roberto and Benedetta’s beautiful home in Assisi. The house was spotless and very well equipped with everything we needed. The furnishings are very comfortable and the enclosed porch is perfect for enjoying the serene countryside and lovely sunsets. It is an ideal location for exploring Assisi and the surrounding area.

Fantastic House
Our group of 7 had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. It has a really nice pool area, a great kitchen and five spacious bedrooms (warning you need to go through the fourth to reach the fifth). Roberto was extremely responsive and things worked well - especially the WiFi! We took wonderful day trips to Spello, Cortona, Deruta, Orvieto, Montefalco and of course Assisi just down the hill. We all enjoyed our stay and found it hard to leave.

The villa was a lovely, accommodating two families easily.. The pool was fab and Roberto welcoming.
The villa offers an excellent base to explore Umbria with much in easy reach including Assisi, Perugia and Lake Transimeno. Roberto was a great host, very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The pool is a real bonus on very hot Italian summers day. The countryside around has soft rolling hills covered in olive groves and full of bird song, especially in the mornings. Assisi is beautiful and full of interesting places to visit and eat. We really enjoyed our stay.

Traumhaftes Haus mit großen Garten und herrlichem Ausblick auf Assisi
Mit einer kleinen Gruppe von 8 Personen haben wir vom 16. bis 19. März 2019 einen Kurztrip nach Assisi gemacht. Roberto und Benedetta haben uns - trotz unserer Verspätung - in ihrem wunderschönen Haus aufs Freundlichste willkommen geheißen. Im Kamin brannte schon das Feuer, so konnten wir vom ersten Moment an den Kurzurlaub genießen. Das Haus ist äußerst liebevoll eingerichtet und strahlt eine freundliche ruhige Atmosphäre aus. Trotz zum Teil frischer Außentemperaturen war es behaglich warm. Die große Küche bot ausreichend Platz zum gemeinsamen Kochen und Essen. Die großzügigen Wohnräume laden zum gemütlichen Beisammensein ein. Ganz besonders genossen wir die Ruhe im Garten, das Singen der Vögel und den Blick auf die Burg und Häuser von Assisi. Die Stadt war in ca. 25 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen: Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Haus und Garten sind einladend, man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Wir möchten unbedingt wiederkommen, wenn möglich im Sommer, damit wir den Pool und den Garten noch mehr nützen können.
Roberto und Benedetta, vielen Dank dafür , dass ihr euer Haus mit uns geteilt habt. Es war ein Genuss!

Beautiful & comfortable, very near Assisi
Our two families thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable farmhouse in Assisi. There were enough beds for everyone to have a place to sleep, the private bathrooms were a great plus at the end of our trip with much togetherness. Accommodations were very comfortable. Despite the snow outside, the house was warm and comfortable. Great hosts!!! Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect place to gather and explore Umbria
We couldn't have asked for a more gracious host or piece of paradise for our family gathering. We had family flying in from Berlin, Toronto, NYC, and Indianapolis, who easily arrived by car or train from Rome. We were met by Roberto on a property full of fig, pomegranate, plum, and olive trees, and a home as gracious as our host. Some rented Vespas and rode from town to town, others drove, visiting wineries (Montefalco), sightseeing (Assisi, Trevi, Spello), and shopping (Assisi, Perugia, Foligno). We soaked in the sun by the beautiful pool, ate wonderful meals, and enjoyed every minute of our vacation. The ages of our family ranged from tween to seniors - 10 people in all. Plenty of room, and everyone found beautiful spaces to read, sip wine, and catch up. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you Roberto! We hope to see you and your family soon in NYC!

Beautiful house, sorroundings and helpfull owners
A big thanks to Roberto and Benedetta for their accommodating character and great service. The house is absolutely beautiful, well-functioning, with all modern and required facilities. We loved the perfect pool, the stunning view, the cool bedrooms, the walks in the fabulous surroundings just outside the gate and the historic and charming villages.

Beautiful, wonderfully equipped and conveniently located home on scenic land with excellent views
Our two families experienced the highlight of our multi-city stay in Italy at this lovely property. The house offered more than we imagined, the town was scenic, interesting, and inspiring, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everybody in our party from young children to adults made wonderful memories here, and we very much hope to come back again soon.

The layout of the house was perfect for our three families. Every bedroom had it's own bathroom. This house gives a country feel but is so close to Assisi. Our stay exceeded our expectations! We will be back! :)

Beautiful villa near Assisi
We rented this beautiful villa for 4 couples traveling in Italy. We stayed for 3 nights in October. The home is very comfortable and each bedroom has it's own bathroom which was important for the 4 couples. We cooked in 2 nights and the kitchen was very nice. The views are amazing. The perfect setting in Umbria. The owners were very easy to work with and the home was very, very clean. If you have a large group this is a great place to stay.

Bellissima casa!
Thank you, Roberto & Benedetta, for making our stay in your beautiful house so happy & problem free. There were no disappointments: everything lived up to the lovely photos. We loved the kitchen, which was perfect for our family dinners. From Benedetta's delicious crostata, awaiting our arrival & made with ingredients from the farm, to the fresh figs from outside the front door, our expectations of 'italian cucina' were exceeded! Assisi is a wonderful area & we enjoyed several day trips to the many hillside towns far & near......Siena, Orvieto, Spoleto......probably the most interesting was Bagnoregio, not to be missed! We were constantly amazed by the engineering feats completed hundreds of years ago. It is an area where a car is very necessary: the fitter among us did walk (hike!) into Assisi several times .......I did not! We were a family of seven: four adults & three children: Avery 11, Atticus 9 & Isla almost 7. They loved the pool, especially during our first week when the mercury hit 40 Celsius! The property is a magical place for children: lots of space for exploring & imagination. Roberto was always available with suggestions for restaurants & places to visit. My only regret was that we did not meet Benedetta......thank you for the crostate. If you and your family ever make it to Vancouver, be sure to get in touch. In short: this was a memorable holiday, for all the right reasons.

Like staying at the luxe vacation home of a dear friend...
A flawless week. Views from virtually every room. As there were only four of us we did not even take advantage of all the extra space but the lovely pool and large kitchen were well used! The private setting and pastoral scenery were just icing on the cake. Roberto could not have possibly been a better host and friend in Assisi. We will be definitely be back!
