"We loved our stay at the farm. The ideal location for driving to lovely local towns, Whitstable etc., check-in was very smooth and we were greeted on arrival. The cottage is really well stocked, not the usual rental with no crockery/wine glasses. We even remarked that the bedding & towels smelt so fresh. "Set in beautiful private land, with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming lake, very warm and high quality private bathroom and hut. Great Hot tub looking at the stars, great veranda. Electricity in the hut and shared communal fridge and freezer, as well as your own fridge and microwave. Host let us bring out own fire pit and lent us a toaster, as none in the hut. "We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available.
