The Perfect Getaway Cabin for Relaxation
I did a weekend stay at Fjellsangin with my best gal pals! We spent the weekend relaxing in the on-site sauna and hot tub, sitting around the fire, and cooking in the incredible kitchen. We used the comfortable outdoor patio set and read and knitted on the indoor couch by the fireplace.
What stands out about this cabin is that you'll never want to leave. You'll sit there thinking, "Should I just live here?" The cabin's design was clearly well thought out. There was plenty of space for the four of us, and even with six guests (the max), you will not feel cramped like in some other cabins.
Our hosts put together a wonderful welcome basket with goodies for our stay, and we reserved a charcuterie board from their add-on provisions. I would highly recommend doing at least one of their meal kits or pre-made boards. It was so nice to have it ready and waiting for us when we arrived.
The cabin is located near the Nisqually entrance of Rainier, making it the perfect home base for a day spent in the park. We also were able to walk from the cabin into Ashford for a delicious coffee at Whittaker's and spent some time perusing the Ashford Creek Art Gallery and Museum. There is plenty to do around the cabin, but we found ourselves wanting to relax and enjoy the gorgeous space.
At Fjellsangin, you can expect a spotlessly clean stay, cozy seating, comfortable beds and linens, and a peaceful atmosphere. This cabin is perfect for a girls' weekend.
It was one of the best cabin experiences I have had in Washington, and I cannot wait for a repeat stay.
