We really enjoyed staying at this house. Kitchen is well appointed and the spaces in the house were good for us. We liked having the hot tub available also. The house was super clean and we appreciated having some shampoo in the showers.There are no grocery stores nearby so we recommend bring groceries with you if there are any you think you want.

Wonderful property close to Mt. Rainier NP. Property was spotless, well stocked, and a great place to relax after hiking and exploring the area. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Bearfoot Chalet. The cabin was perfect for our group of 5 and it could hardly be closer to the National Park. The house is very well furnished and equipped and we loved all the extra features, especially the cornhole game! We couldn't have chosen a more relaxing place to stay.

Nice home that is well maintained and clean. Very close to the Mt.Rainier Nisqually gate making access to the Longmire and Paradise parts of the park easy and quick.

We were so comfortable at the Bearfoot chalet! It was in a great location for visiting Mt Rainier Park, it was very clean, we felt very safe, it was comfortable, had a well-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, plentiful linens and towels, and was very quiet and cozy for sleeping. They had games and movies as well for families. Easy self check-in and great communication as well. We would definitely choose to stay here again if visiting beautiful Mt Rainier in the future.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place is absolutely awesome. Perfect base camp for the Paradise area. I wish we would have stayed longer. Everything is basically brand new. Host was great and quickly responded to every need.

Beautiful chalet with great location for Paradise area of Mt Rainier NP

This place is perfect! The host has thought of everything to make this beautiful chalet feel like home. Excellent layout, high end finishes, and so many thoughtful amenities. Location is great - close to NP entrance (and about 40 minutes total to the Paradise visitor center - with amazing vistas and trailheads along the way). Kathy was extremely responsive from initial inquiry questions all the way through check out. Highly recommend!!!

Family Get Away

We walked in and felt like we were in Paradise! What a warm and beautiful home! Lots of room, large kitchen and really enjoyed the hot tub to relax and soothe our joints. The wooded area and wildlife was so cool to see! Peace and solitude. The hosts were awesome! Any problems developed they took care of right away! Things were prepared in case of a power outage, which we did encounter but with battery lanterns provided in every room and we could stil cook on a gas range and still had water! We recommend this place highly and will return again in the future!

Rustic comfort

This was a beautiful home in a rustic environment. ...Very comfortable with everything you might need. I would recommend handrails on the front porch for safety, otherwise it was the perfect place right near the park. I would highly recommend choosing this place if you are staying in the area.

PERFECT Rainier cabin

Pics don’t do justice. The house was better than advertised - comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. We loved the fire pit and outdoor area every night. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommend.

Exceeded Expectations

This is a wonderful property near the entrance to Mt. Rainer. The chalet felt like home from the moment we walked in; clean, comfortable, modern and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed. Three bedrooms gave our family room to spread out (2 adults and 2 teenagers). There is a great sitting area outside the upstairs bedrooms. The rear of the property includes a covered deck, hot tub and fire pit with plenty of wood. The proximity to the National Park made it easy to reserve an early entry time into the park.Communication with the hosts was prompt and helpful. We've stayed in many VRBO properties and this is among our favorites. Highly recommend it!

Nestled in the green woods

We had everything we needed and then some in this lovely home in Ashford. Had some struggles with the remotes and noted that one notification we had (from VRBO??) listed the address as 159 while the owner’s message reported 157. Loved the shower but found some of the knobs were reversed and I go about how to adjust the heat beyond 100 degrees would have been helpful. We would highly recommend this home for those visiting Mount Rainier national park

Bearfoot Chalet 3 bedrooms.

Beautiful rental property. Super clean and has just about everything you need for a getaway to Mt Rainier. I would stay here again. I would recommend for the next guest to bring their own pillows, the pillows there were uncomfortable. Also recommend for them to bring their own ice. The ice maker would give enough for one beverage and then get stuck in the door slot. When you open up the refrigerator door, the ice would fall all over the floor.. this happened multiple times. We ended up just buying ice and left the ice maker alone. No biggie. The hosts pretty much thought of everything for their guests and made this rental an awesome beautiful getaway. Thank you.
