The property was very cute, and overall we had a decent stay after my wife successfully summited Mt. Rainier. We wanted a few days in the woods for her to recover. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable, and we loved watching deer wander through the yard—it added a peaceful touch. The property management company was responsive and helpful over text, which was appreciated.However, there were several small issues that added up. The kitchen was not as “well stocked” as the listing suggested—no foil, plastic wrap, baggies, or storage containers, and only three coffee mugs for a five-person home. There were no paper towels initially, though the host did send us a code to a storage closet to get some. There also weren’t any kitchen towels, so we ended up using bathroom towels.The charcoal grill hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and took about 20 minutes to scrub out before using. The toilet ran unless the tank was opened and manually adjusted. The beds were firm but mostly comfortable; however, one squeaked loudly with every movement. Also, be aware that while the house is listed as having two bedrooms, only one actually has a door—the other is open to the stairwell.Finally, we did feel a bit uneasy in the neighborhood after spotting several Confederate flags. There were also several loose dogs around the neighborhood, which made us uneasy when walking the , so be on alert if you bring your pets.

Short on things

No towels, they were in wash. Found that out when we were leaving. Shower floor dirty. Floors dirty. Firepit chairs spider webs and tables filthy. Did not sweep area outside to relax in. Kitchen supplies old and dirty oven. 1 towel for kitchen. I guess they were in the washer too As picky as you were with us we expected at little nicer and cleaner.

Best stay in a while

We've been avoiding vacation homes for the past year or so due to increasingly high lists of chores to complete before leaving. This place renews my interest in staying at vacation homes. It was a very relaxing stay, the owners were easy to contact and everything was easy to find with clear and concise instructions for operation. Would definitely stay here again. Also of note, the photos don't do the place justice--lots of outdoor space that is set up well and the rooms are very comfy.

Great stay

My family and I really enjoyed staying here when we visited Mt Rainier. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen and fridge to make our own food. I have bad allergies (including allergies to pets and dust), but the cabin was so clean that I didn't have a problem during my visit.

My Rainer

Beautiful little cabin. Had everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The beds were rock hard was very uncomfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and enjoyable. The cabin was very clean. Kudos to the cleaning team.

Most amazing getaway

This by far was the cutest little cabin down to the detail!! It has everything you could need for quiet relaxation time to unplug and get away. We chose this property for a variety of reasons. We made the trip for our 7th wedding anniversary to getaway. The scenery was beautiful. The peoperty had everything we needed. The weather was projecting rain so we were a little worried. Surprisingly we were able to sit in the jacuzzi and enjoy the sound of raindrops in silence hitting the rooftop. It was pure bliss. Everything about this place is paradise. We will be returning.

Like a spa after hiking!

We felt so pampered with the hot tub and lovely spaces, both inside and out after hiking at Mt Rainier. It was quiet and so relaxing. Highly recommend.

Great stay

Awesome place just outside of downtown Ashford. Cabin was outstanding, only thing is the hot tub was not working and we were not notified until the day we were arriving. Still really enjoyed the stay.

Great week away in the woods!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved how quiet and remote this area was while at the same time being very close to the national park. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice having so many extra linens and blankets. The outdoor living space in this property is awesome!

Wonderful! Woodsy! Cozy! Spotless!

This home was so cozy and comfortable to come home to each day after hiking. The hot tub was so soothing for our sore muscles. When we had some issues with the hot tub and contacted the company who owns the property, they were prompt and getting back to us and remedied our issue. Great communication... Overall stay was wonderful!
