The rental was truly a retreat with fantastic views, incredibly welcoming and accommodating hosts. I don't think anyone could ask anything more of their time in this location and I look forward to returning!

Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and responsive. It is abundantly clear that they have put in a great deal of care and thought into making sure that their guests have an enjoyable stay and that they have everything they might need during their stay. The interior decor is lovely and comfortable, and the view from the large patio is spectacular.

Fantastic Experience

Jack and Robin thought of everything to make us feel welcome and at home. From the moment I booked the rental, Jack reached out and provided valuable information about the rental and the area. The accommodations were spacious, clean and as described. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Asheville. We would book again.

Idealic place near Asheville!

From the moment we arrived at Treetop Hideaway we knew this was going to be a great place to stay for our week vacation. Jack and Robin thought of everything! Wonderful hosts! Such a relaxing and peaceful spot tucked in the mountains. We had a beautiful patio to sit outside, well stocked kitchen, with wine, beer, coffee and even some delicious cookies! Beautiful, spacious bathroom and a very comfortable king size bed, with a large closet and a dresser with lots of drawers. We could really unpack and feel like home. To top it off…. We were within 15-20 minutes of everything… Biltmore, downtown Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Grove Park Inn and The River Arts District. Don’t hesitate to stay at this wonderful hideaway. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Jack, and Robin!

Treetop stay

Well maintained property that is roomy for two. Close enough to all Asheville area attractions. Property owners easily accessible. Enjoyed the weather as it was cooler then ours in the Charlotte area which was are key reason for heading here. Good communication from owners about dining in the area.

Wonderful Stay-Great Location

Ups and Downs

The hosts, Jack and Robbin are incredible: Their knowledge of the area and just about anything else was amazing. The driveway to the property was extremely steep and downright scary. Maybe I am just old, but my wife wouldn't even try to drive it. The apartment was modern and very well equipped and supplied, but was also cold and damp due to the lack of direct sunlight. Jack did get an electric space heater which helped solve the problem. Our time there was unusually rainy.

11 out of 10. The best place to stay in the Asheville area

From the moment we booked the place, my wife and I felt that we are in the good hands. Jack, the owner, connected with us and provided all necessary details about the place, how to get there, and what to do while in Asheville. The house is immaculate, has everything for the stay, beautiful views, and, best of all, the fantastic hosts, Robin and Jack. Throughout our time there, we felt like in a paradise. Big thanks! Hidden Gem!

The property was perfectly described and the hosts were extremely hospitable. We were greeted and shown all amenities. There are a number of streaming apps, a cozy fireplace, extremely comfortable bed and linens! The hosts thought of every convenience - wine, beer, sparkling and bottled waters, coffee pods/Keurig, travel toothbrushes, razors, shampoo/conditioner, soaps. No need to bring paper products - paper towels, toilet tissue, Kleenex, even charging cords, umbrellas and recycling offered. We enjoyed our stay and restaurant recommendations. We will definitely book again. Jack and Robin were the best hosts we have encountered!

Long weekend Biltmore Estate visit

This had to be one of our favorite short getaways. We had two full days at The Biltmore Estate and grounds, as well as a visit to Omni Grove Park Inn. Our stay at Jack and Robin’s home was a pure delight. It was so nice to come back to this very cozy and well accommodated lower level home at the end of our days. We actually looked forward to it! The description of this beautiful home is spot on…..meticulously clean, very comfortable, well appointed, every detail thought of. Jack and Robin thought of everything. We would highly recommend this find to anyone and we are already telling our friends it’s a must do trip, and to stay here! Hoping to return here one day. Thank you Jack for also spending the time with us to share your stories, very interesting.

Nice getaway

Excellent suite in a beautiful area. Just a few minutes from Asheville, but feels cabin like. Jack and Robin were awesome, and the rooms and deck are spacious yet comfortable. A+ all around!

Fantastic mountain weekend

My mom and I had such a nice stay. The space was perfect for us and we loved using the fireplace at night. I wish we could’ve stayed longer so that we could’ve taken more advantage of the patio and the view of the mountains. The proximity to Asheville was perfect and we found some great restaurants super close by. Jack greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the space and was super responsive to texts. I also appreciated all of his restaurant and hiking recommendations. Thank you for a great stay!!

Great!

The wooded hillside location with its mountain view is serene; the property and its amenities exactly as advertised. It's an ideal base from which to enjoy the greater Ashville area. Jack and Robin are delightful. They expertly fulfill their roles as onsite hosts, ready to assist if needed, while respecting the privacy of their guests. We were there a full week and enjoyed visiting with and get to know them a bit which added to the pleasure of our stay.

Cozy & well equipped

We stayed for 4 nights in September & found the property easy to locate & very accessible to getting anywhere around Asheville. It’s also close to downtown. The apartment is definitely private with everything just as in the photos. Plenty of extra blankets, Pillows, decent kitchen, keurig & lovely patio overlooking the woods and distant mountains. Jack & Robin are gracious hosts & we were happy to get to know them. And, proceeds from this rental go directly to helping fund research for autism, which has touched their family profoundly. Thank you again Jack & Robin! We hope to see you again!

Homey stay in Asheville

My husband and I planned a very last minute trip to Asheville and chose Jack and Robin's place based on the views and proximity to downtown. Jack was very communicative and answered all our questions quickly. The unit was extremely clean, well decorated, and even came stocked with some goodies and toiletries. We only wish we had more time to chat with them as they were very warm and interesting people. Definitely recommend!

Extraordinary

The property was clean and inviting. The view off the deck was breath taking. Robin and Jack are the best host you could ever ask for! The dogs are adorable. I will recommend this spot to everyone. I will be back soon.

Worth the Driveway!

Jack and Robin (the hosts) have thought of everything in their VRBO... from seltzer waters to toothbrushes, they even left us a nice bottle of wine! The driveway was a little intimidating upon the first approach, but by day 2 we were pros at it. And, it's worth every climb to see that beautiful view. We were fortunate enough to see a bear crossing the road right before the driveway. We would definitely stay here again! Susan and Bob

Peaceful and beautiful views

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The place was very clean and had a lot of little extras (cookies, bottle of wine, sparkling water and coffee for example) The bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio to drink our coffee and just enjoy the beautiful nature around us in the mornings and evenings. The location was perfect and just a short drive away from downtown Asheville. Jack was a wonderful host and gave so many appreciated recommendations for restaurants and hikes. We would definitely recommend to stay at this location!

It was an incredible experience, the cabin is in excellent condition and has a magnificent view full of nature. Jack was a great host, he helped us a lot and was always very attentive even with the smallest detail. I would definitely do it again.

BEST Getaway!!!

If I could leave 10 stars, I would!!! Our stay was absolutely fabulous, Jack and Robin thought of it all! This was the first trip my husband and I have taken without our small children and it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The place itself was immaculately clean and adorably decorated. The bed was very comfortable and linens were soft as well as the bath towels! We really enjoyed the ambiance of the fireplace from the comfy couch. Sitting out on the patio sipping coffee while admiring the view, might have been my favorite part though! It was beautiful! We did not do much as far as cooking, but the kitchen was well stocked for anything you’d like to make. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the wine, beer, water, coffee, creamer, and cookies! We also really enjoyed talking to Jack and Robin. They were so warm and welcoming, the best hosts we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!!
