The house was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of things to do both inside and out—pool, ping pong, flat yard space for soccer, pond for fishing, fire pit, outdoor balcony seating for informal meals, etc. the kitchen was amply provisioned with every accoutrement needed to cook big meals for our crew. Checkin was a breeze.

Can't wait to go back

We stayed at Pine Hollow for a family get together and there could not have been a better place! The house is gorgeous and massive - room for everyone and all the activities. The location is a great launching point for hikes in Pisgah and easy Asheville access. Everyone is already talking about the next reunion and going back to Pine Hollow again.

This was an awesome visit to AVL. Highlighted by this wonderful home! It very spacious and plenty of room for everyone. The home had everything we needed during this weekend stay!highly recommend!

Great house!

Pine hollow is a fabulous house! Just a quick drive to downtown Asheville, it made for a super fun vacation! The only issue we had was that the grill was extremely rusted and therefore unable to be used. Everything else was great for the quick weekend that we were there! Would definitely return if I had a big group.

50th Wedding Anniversary

We did enjoy our stay. Plenty to do for the kids with space for the adults to enjoy conversations. Appreciated the two refrigerators to store food for 19 people!! Beautiful post and beam home!

great house, spacious and well-appointed. short drive to Asheville, hikes, the airport. host was very flexible for an early check-in which was appreciated. property was clean and everything worked well. would absolutely stay again- accommodates a large group very comfortably.

Birthday Celebration

Was a great trip - celebrated my brothers birthday with a group of friends and it was perfect. So much space and multiple rooms for congregating, in case anyone needed privacy. Owner was also very communicative with any questions, for instance we had a question about the grill and response was immediate. Also, had more than enough kitchen supplies, there wasnt anything we really needed. So happy we picked this rental!

Overall a great location and an amazing place…but don’t show up on time because they weren’t ready.

Unfortunately when we showed up there was mountains of trash from the previous group outside by the door waiting to be disposed of. Not a welcoming environment at all, I contacted the manager and got no response but a little later someone came and picked it up. (Still no communication back to us) About an hour later the mowing crew came along and it was amazingly loud actually right when we were about to sit down for dinner. Really a bad start to the weekend. The property is great though and we had a really great weekend just poor preparation for us arriving and zero response when we reached out.

Plenty of room for a group

We spent a week at Pine Hollow with 4 other couples celebrating our 60th birthday year. Plenty of space and privacy for each of us - not only bedrooms and bathrooms, but actual private sitting areas! We found the kitchen to be particularly well stocked with equipment and utensils, and really appreciated the abundance of refrigerators and large garbage/recycle bins. The furniture throughout the home was very comfortable. The deck and yard were perfect for lounging and playing "bags". We especially enjoyed the fabulous game room - what a nice addition to the shared space. Just sorry that we didn't find time to use the hot tub. Had a bit of a glitch getting into the home when we first arrived, but the Yonder folks were very responsive and able to talk us through the idiosyncrasies of the key pad on the front door. With a home this large, the maintenance and upkeep can be daunting. There were a few issues that needed to be addressed, especially for the cost of this particular rental. However, they were not enough to prevent me from recommending the property or staying there again. We truly enjoyed the home and had a fabulous time at Pine Hollow.

Luxury? Not So Much.

A door to the outside would not lock. Anyone could have come in and murdered our entire group during the first 2 nights! Angela from Yonder responded to this with, "Just wanted to let you know that the homeowner will be repairing the lock on the exterior door after your stay as the parts were ordered and he is waiting on them." After our stay? How is that safe/cool? Anyway, eventually their weekend guy came out and installed a lock on an interior door. Better than nothing, I'll give them that. Also, there were dead fish in the overcrowded coy pond, there was some decomposing critter (opossum maybe?) in a tub near the hot tub, and we found a dying cockroach in one of the bathrooms, there also was/were a broken toilet seat that just kind of rested on the bowl (weekend guy could not fix), a dryer that didn't dry, loudly leaking showers (weekend guy could not fix this either), a range burner that wouldn't light, the roof leaked during a thunderstorm. This stuff is all fixable, but it just made the overall lodging experience seem overpriced and low quality (not at all "luxury" as advertised).

This is an absolutely gorgeous property with plenty of room for multiple families or a big group. We had 10 adults and 4 little ones and everyone had their own area. The house itself is beautiful as is the property. Great amenities and attention to detail. The recreation room along with the fire pits outside and large yard provide ample opportunities for fun! It was perfect for our family and we made great memories there!

Great stay

The house was great! We had 10 adults and 8 children and we never ran out of things to do and places to see. It was centrally located for our family coming from the north and the south, beautiful scenery, and a good times was had by all. The house was as promised and so much prettier in person.
