The host was wonderful - very responsive. The house is very tired. It is clean but it is pretty run down. For example, one of the chairs and the bench for the dining room table were broken so for each meal one of us had to sit on a cooler we brought and a pocket on the pool table was broken through. Just a few examples. It just doesn't seem like much attention is paid to the house.

George is a great host and communicator. He ensures that you have everything that you need. The house is perfect for multiple families. We enjoyed the downstairs entertaining area, hot tub and fire pit. Close to downtown.

Perfect Asheville Family Retreat

My family was visiting for a wedding in Asheville, and both the property and the host were incredible. The house was fantastic with a lot of space and great outdoor areas and George was an incredible host who was always available when we needed him. I have nothing but great things to say about this stay in Asheville. 5 stars all around!

Great House, Amazing Location!!

We had an amazing stay at this house in Asheville! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with friends and family. The house was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of room for the kids to play, with lots of activities to keep them entertained, while the adults enjoyed relaxing in the cozy living spaces. The location was convenient for exploring Asheville, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and will definitely be back. George was a great host and got back to us regarding any questions we might have quickly as well.

Perfect gathering space

The house was perfect for our gathering! Very clean, spacious and such a great space for a weekend. The house is big enough that guests can have some separate space but plenty of rooms for gathering together. George, the host, was responsive and accommodating. Would recommend this house to anyone coming to Asheville for the weekend!

Great family vacation!

George and his son both stopped by to check on us. They are very friendly and were making sure our stay was as fabulous as we hoped. Lots of space and a well equipped kitchen. Great views from either deck. Easy trip to town and entertainment. Definitely recommend for a big group visit.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful 80th birthday celebration for my husband John. We had children, spouses, grandchildren & one great granddaughter. The location was perfect and the scenery was gorgeous. We had delicious meals together in the large dining area. Also, the pool/ping pong table was quite a hit! The whole family would like a redo of our family gathering again next year.

George was a great host House is in excellent location to have seclusion, great backyard view of the natural beauty of the area, amenities to entertain while staying there, and close proximity to Asheville (downtown, river arts district).
