Super clean & comfortable space! The bed is huge, and I found to be very comfortable. Plenty of towels in the bathroom and K-cups for the coffee maker. There's a little fridge & water cooler. This is good for 1 or 2 people. I would encourage any renter, before booking to confirm with the owner that the fireplace is working. I didn't know until the day of check in. It's a beautiful feature of the room and I was upset to miss out on using it. Also, just be aware that the homeowner & family live upstairs so you will hear people walking around. Other than that, it was great! Very easy to get to & close to town.

The location is great, the room was well thought out and appointed, clean, roomy and comfortable. When I think of a view in Asheville, I think mountains and forests. The view from the unit is of the bushes covering the screen porch in front. There is a small wooded area to the side of the porch. We did see deer and turkeys in the yard when we were outside. The fireplace is the focal point of the room, and it doesn't work. When I asked Angie about it she said the previous guest must have cut the gas at the logs, implying she wasn't aware it wasn't working and would look at it. Then she said the gas company came out and couldn't get it going and had to order a part so she turned off the logs, and blamed the previous guest. I checked the reviews and a guest in September said they were very disappointed that the fireplace didn't work. We stayed Oct 8-11. The fireplace could have been fixed in that time but wasn't. We weren't notified it wasn't working prior to checking in, given an opportunity to make other accommodation arrangements, and when we noticed it wasn't working, a previous guest was blamed. If the fireplace is important to you, I would verify with Angie prior to check-in that it is working.

Clean and Cute

This spot was perfect for our New Years getaway. We travel to Asheville often so it was nice to return after Helene. This place was very clean and just what we needed with a nice bed, fireplace , TV, nice clean bathroom and sofa.The only complaint is the noise from upstairs. It was extremely loud and sounded like people would fall through the ceiling. Luckily, I brought my earplugs.

A wonderful experience!

Beautiful and immaculate huge room on the bottom floor of a family home. You enter through a screened porch overlooking a lovely wooded area! We really enjoyed that the room had a sofa/TV area, lovely fireplace, a well stocked kitchenette, and a bath with a walk in shower. Convenient north Asheville location! It could not have been any better!
