The house is nice and private, but the beds are not comfortable. If you want to be close to downtown Asheville for restaurants and shopping, it is a solid 20 minutes; the grocery store is 10 minutes.

Great day. Loved the feeling of seclusion while still being minutes from stores. The sauna and fireplace were highlights, and such a great book collection/ we”ll def be back.

Enjoyed our stay, loved this place. Quirky in the best possible way, Nothing cookie cutter about this place. The whole idea of vacation for me it to experience something different including the dwelling we stay in. This place did not disappoint.

Beautiful Setting in the Woods

My friends & I booked this house as a weekend base for shopping & zip lining. We enjoyed the house as well as the sauna. The restaurants in the area are wonderful. The house provided everything we needed in a quiet, peaceful beautiful setting.

Cozy Christmas Delight

The size of the home was a huge plus for us as we had 4 adults and a six year old. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We had freezing temps while there and wanted to stay inside by the fire for the most part. Kitchen was spacious! My favorite spot was the sauna. Such a treat! The guys enjoyed exploring the property and trails. Grocery store was close by and convenient. Would recommend this property for families or individuals looking for a great getaway. Great Memories made this Christmas!

Home away from home.

Loved the antiquities, brought back loving memories of our Grandmother's home. Clean , comfortable and everything you needed from a home. The bear sightings were extra exciting, being able to view them from the home.

Fantastic Property, Well Managed

This is a great property that is well managed by Bryan and Jen. The home is well appointed with everything you need. The location is great; right next to a lovely stream with direct access to the Blue Ridge Parkway trail, while still a few mins to downtown Asheville.

Wonderful Get-a-way Spot

My friends and I wanted to visit the Biltmore estate but enjoy a more secluded retreat for rest and relaxation. Our stay in this rental was perfect. Close to ALL amenities, including the Blue Ridge Parkway, yet just far enough away to feel removed from the hustle and bustle. We even got to watch 4 visiting bears enjoy breakfast in the back yard area on our last day. Truly enjoyed our visit and the comfort of this rental.

Peaceful Stay!

This home, next to the babbling creek, is just the right spot for a family getaway. Not too far off the beaten path and close enough to enjoy both the mountains and downtown Asheville. Clean home with an open floor plan is perfect for families and friends.

A gorgeous and peaceful spot

A lovely home clearly well loved and thoughfully decorated. Very quiet with a babbling brook outside. Would recommend this property highly and would definitely consider staying here again. Close to downtown and convenient to many of the attractions in the area even though it feels like your in the middle of the woods.

Beautiful home, beautiful location

We were so impressed by the seclusion this property offered. The brook running beside the home is beautiful, the nearby trails, all with nearby access to Asheville and its many offerings. We had to leave early due to a back injury that was exasperated by our travels, however truly hope to rent the home in the future. Communication with the manager was A+ service. We would highly recommend this propery!

Wonderful mountain retreat

We all enjoyed this comfortable home. Lovely to stay put to explore the stream and hiking paths nearby and convenient to venture out to sample what Asheville has to offer. We really liked staying here. It is remotely located but still fairly convenient (10 minutes or so) to grocery, restaurants and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Semi- secluded mountain retreat

We were looking for a place with a remote mountain feel, without the hour plus drive into town. This place was perfect. Excellent views and hiking right on the property. The calming sound of trickling steam outside your window. Wildlife galore. Inside was spacious, clean, and well stocked. 10/10
