The property and location were a 10/10. It is in an idyllic and calming setting. The only thing that wasn’t perfect about the property is the bed was very uncomfortable and seemed past its prime. We had to use the rollaway bed and pullout couch because the bed hurt our backs. That’s an easy change. The place is very comfortable and was a great, romantic anniversary get away.

Mountain Retreat

This was my 5th summer in a row at this fabulous mountain retreat. I love this cabin for its location at the top of the mountain, surrounded by lush woods with the constant musical waters of the creek that runs down below. The cool, crisp mornings are spent with a cup of hot tea, rocking on the chairs on the huge deck. The hot tub is a great escape and has a fantastic view of the forest and creek. The cabin is clean and has everything you need, including WiFi, Alexa music, a fireplace with wood bundles available, washer and dryer, and a big king sized bed up in the loft. Hiking trails surround the cabin and there’s a landing down by the creek with Adirondack chairs and fire pit. The owner Craig is always quick to reply to any questions I might have. It’s a short drive from the quaint town of Hot Springs. I always stay for the long weekend of July 4th. I can’t wait to come back next year.

Perfect Place to Celebrate a 40th Anniversary

Beautiful remote serene location! Property has much to explore from a firepit near a lovely creek to a short hike up to a scenic ridge to a Nature Chapel where we searched for birds. The cabin was cozy and quaintly rustic with charming country decor. The porches were set up for relaxing and winding down from a fast-paced world. The hot tub was ready and waiting for us. We loved every bit of our stay and created wonderful 40th anniversary memories.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. I loved everything about it. It’s a beautiful cabin. Has tremendous charm and boasts a rustic feel coupled with modern conveniences. Sitting on the porch at night in a rainstorm was magical, and enjoying the stream and woods were delightful. I will absolutely rent this place again!

Wonderful cozy cabin!

This was the perfect cabin for a quiet getaway. The creek added such a great atmosphere. We enjoyed our morning coffee down by the fire pit. Sleeping with the windows open listening to the creek and the rain was a highlight. The hot tub was great! One of the things we really liked was the ease of getting to the cabin and still feeling secluded. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return someday.

Cute Little Cabin

The cabin was very nice & well furnished! Had everything you would need. A few things- I wish the listing had been more transparent there was absolutely NO INTERNET in or partially on the way to the cabin. If we had not had GPS in our vehicle, we wudve been totally lost because our phones did not work to pull up directions. Also, I wish there had been more window coverings on the downstairs windows because you can see straight into the cabin from the driveway and in the bedroom. Too much light came in in the morning in your face. Even though its an secluded area, it still needs window coverings. Other than that, everything was great! Check in easy, directions were clear etc.

Trip started out interesting when mt going to Gatlinburg was closed, hence 4.5 hour detour around mt. Then winter got us on the cabin driveway requiring us to go into winter action mode. Came to find snow. Loved it. Fireplace, wine and good food. Saw gaggle of Turkeys and deer out kitchen window. Could not ask for better adventure.

Cute, quiet getaway

My husband and I enjoyed staying here while recently visiting friends in the area. It was a nice way to spend a couple of days. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had what we needed, and the porch and hot tub were wonderful for relaxing. We didn't get to enjoy the firepit next to the creek but we could just hear the sound through the open window at night. Guess we'll have to go back for another visit. ;)
