Mountain oasis

The property was exactly as advertised. It was a perfect place for our young kids to run around and enjoy nature! We were extremely happy with the location it was close to Asheville and Blue Ridge parkway. I would recommend this property to anyone. We created many amazing family memories!

wonderful stay

This place matches the description and all the other comments. Place was perfect for 5 travelers. The view off the porch is worth the price on it's own. Easy to get in, place is stocked with just the right amount in the kitchen (has tupperware and everything to cook), and close enough to all the action. We even had a visit for from some picnic basket enthusiast four footed friends and they walked right by but it was very cool.

Perfect spot for an Asheville getaway!!

Perfect location to have a mountain cabin stay while still being less than 20 minutes to Asheville. We had a great time and everything was perfect for our trip!! A+!

Great time

My friends and I visited Asheville for my birthday. The house was nice, so much space, beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. It was peaceful and great being away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. In trying to give a balanced review I would say if you are a light sleeper and you are sharing the house with a large group be aware that it is like a cabin in that it’s all wood and no carpeting and depending on where you are you may hear folks moving, opening/closing doors, talking or snoring.

Our Autumn Getaway

We sisters used the spacious cabin as a landing during our getaway weekend in Asheville. Each of us had a separate bedroom! The cabin had all the household features needed. Our view was stunning from every angle. This property is a jewel!

Amazing property for families!

The yard was bigger and better than we expected! We had a big group with 5 kids in our party (4-yo to 10-yo), and they loved playing outside in the yard and by the pond during our downtime. The location is also perfect. Only 15 mins from grocery stories, pharmacies, Starbucks, etc but also very peaceful, quiet and remote once you’re at the property. We were very close to Pisgah National Forest and the Biltmore Estate, as well as downtown Asheville. Overall, we would highly recommend!

Great retreat

Our group of friends met up in Asheville, and we loved staying at Cold Creek Cottage! The house is spacious, clean, and stocked well with necessary items. We loved our slow mornings of coffee and conversation on the front porch. Definitely recommend and would return!

Beautiful property

Beautiful views from a spacious porch with plenty of rockers and a hammock. Well-stocked kitchen. Kids had a great time playing outdoor games on the huge grassy area and basketball court. Great place for families!

Excellent Location, Close to Everything & Plenty of Wildlife

Only 15-20 mins to downtown Asheville, yet far enough away to have amazing views. Furthermore, you can enjoy the pond and property views from the deck that wraps the house. While there, we had 3 bear sightings on the property. At one point, the momma and 3 cubs walked right across the basketball court. The property owners live nearby, so they are quick to respond to any issues. The water supply is from a spring. We didn't have any issues with our group of 5. If you have more people, you may have to be more strategic with water usage.

February Trip with Teens

We have a wonderful stay at this property. It was my husband and me and our four teenage children and one teenage friend. We were up for three college tours--and chose this property as our home in between trips. It was perfect for our group! Big kitchen, five bedrooms, game room, two TVs. Everyone loved it! Thanks for a fantastic stay.
