My wife and I came to Asheville to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we opted to do this rental for a more personal/intimate experience (rather than a simple hotel). The views of the mountains were amazing and the leading reason we chose this location and this exact unit. We had a few hiccups getting into the building the day-of-arrival but were quickly remedied by a simple phone-call where the office was super helpful and informative. Upon inspection of the unit, we found that the toilet had no seat so another quick call to the office and within the hour someone was there to install one. (I do wonder what happened to the previous toilet seat though).
As for the rest of the unit:
Bedroom: the bed was plenty comfortable as were the selection of pillows available. The biggest "issue" was that the shade does not block enough daylight so in the morning hours it started getting bright in there earlier than I would have liked.
Kitchen: suited our needs for what we did cook. The oven takes what seems like forever to come to temperature which was annoying. There are plenty of cooking pots/pans and mixing bowls/storage bowls with lots of various utensils. There was no type of oil for cooking provided but we brought our own, just in case. We did not utilize the coffee maker that was there as we provided for ourselves.
Main Room: couch was comfortable to sit and relax on. TV is quite large for that space but it functioned without issue and had lots of options for watching (cable TV, apps, etc.)
Bathroom: other than the initial toilet issue I mentioned earlier, the bathroom is huge. Double vanity with loads of space up top on the counter or in the drawers underneath. The shower was nice but the pressure could have been better, I felt it was a bit too low.
Parking Garage: so nice and convenient to have the garage right downstairs. It is tight in there so larger vehicles could have some issues navigating/parking. I found backing into the parking spots was much easier to get in and out.
Overall Location: as others have mentioned, the building is across from the bus depot which is certainly an eye-sore (especially if staying on that side of the building). There are many vagrants and homeless that hang around which, for some people, might be uncomfortable. My wife and I walked down to breweries and even through the depot itself without issue. Just be aware of your surroundings.
All-in-all, would certainly stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!
