Mostly chosen for the surrounding area and despite a rather dire weather forecast we were out and about most days, and the spa and pool filled in one afternoon. "The hotel wad in a good location within 10 mins walk of the centre of Rye. Free parking was a real benefit. Hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, quiet and spacious with a nice view looking out over the river. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty. We enjoyed our stay at the Haven hotel and would thoroughly recommend. "

"Lovely staff - so thoughtful and accommodating! I arrived early, coming immediately from a very long & tiring international flight. I was able to check in prior to the normal check in time and have a nice rest that afternoon. I was so grateful for that kind accommodation. I have some food, allergies and they were able to work within those restrictions, and provide delicious fresh flavorful meals. "Amazing room. Like a suite with a separate sitting room. Sea and downland views from the bedroom and sea view from sitting room. Spotless rooms and bathroom. Lashings of hot water. Super quiet too. I eat in the conservatory in the evening and the menu was very varied. Everything I had was cooked perfectly.
