"Welcoming owners Helen and Andy provide a warm, comfortable and luxurious B&B in the heart of lovely Eccleshall. Helen's artsy skill are shared in abundance, with every little detail attended to. Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience."

"We arrived at the hotel, had a problem with one of the keys to the property, rang a number , told the person on the end of the phone, we couldn't get back into the property with the main key, just wanted the code for the master key, so we could actually enter the property,from when we got back from our day/nite out in Nottingham, but the person on the end of the phone hung up on me.lucky for us we had a key which we could open the patio doors so we could get in that way, we've stayed at this...

"Property was fine, the staff were really good and my room was clean. Breakfast was first class. Be aware that you have to park your car in the local car park, which is chargeable. "

"The room in which we were to stay was the St Petersburg room. The room smelt of dust and that was going to be the least of our worries. We sat on the bed and immediately the bed squeaked and the frame moved. Getting off the bed was another story as the mattress was below the steel frame so you literally had to climb out over it. The frame of the bed which was a 4 poster style bed rocked on any movement. After spending 20 minutes in the room we decided not to risk the bed collapsing and chose to...

"A very special place to stay as this was the family home of Florence Nightingale. We stayed in two bedrooms which were the rooms that she grew up in before she went to Crimea. This is not a hotel. It’s more of a guest house with a few of the rooms rented out on a nightly basis. The property is accessed through several gates so it’s on very private land. The views are amazing of the local countryside and there’s a very beautiful garden around the house and sheep in the fields a little further...

"Great location and quiet room . The couple who own the property are both lovely and helpful. The room has all the amenities you could wish for , they have considered what a guest might want or need . You can park off street . The room was a little on the small side but adequate for one or two nights . The continental breakfast is adequate and the fresh coffee as very good . The property was full so the breakfast room was too and we felt a little bit close to other tables ."
