    Our property is located in the very Excellency Arucas City, in the neighborhood of Trasmontaña, in a unique, sustainable and surrounded by nature. center established agricultural estates in the banana monoculture.

    Finca La Esperanza is a traditionally built property in an "L" (building and room services, stables and warehouses) with large open spaces with an area of ​​25, 000 square meters and a farm close to 100 . 000 Kg. of bananas annually. Finca La Esperanza over the years has been restored adapting rooms adjacent to the house alpendre lounge areas, barbecue, gym, solarium, parking and swimming pool to offer a home accessible to all.

    Finca La Esperanza has accommodation for 9 people maximum 6 adults and three children, in an incredible setting, surrounded by banana trees a short distance from the north coast of the island of Gran Canaria.

Super schöne Villa mit beheiztem Pool.Gastgeber Juan ist sehr freundlich und hilft sofort, wenn irgend ein Problem ist.Man kann jederzeit Orangen, Mandarinen, Pampelmusen und Bananen in der Plantage ernten, inmitten derer das Haus liegt.Alles ist sehr sauber!Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!!!

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.Der Empfang von den Gastgebern war sehr herzlich. In der liebevollen eingerichteten Finca war alles vorhanden und sauber.Der pool war wunderschön. Er wurde regelmäßig gereinigt,ohne das wir uns gestört fühlten. Die angrenzende Bananenplantage war einzigartig.

Wat een topplek! Superschoon, zwembad is heel fijn (voor de kids vooral) en de locatie is geweldig. Deurtje door en je liep zo Narnia in (alias de bananenplantage). Eigenaren zijn heel aardig en behulpzaam. Mochten we weer naar Gran Canaria gaan, dan boeken we dit weer. Succes gegarandeerd!

A great place to stay!

A great location to visit the history rich northern section of Gran Canaria.A very comfortable house well suited for families. Nice. open views. The big plus that makes this place stand out is the access to the banana plantation and fresh fruits in season (bananas oranges goyaves for us in february). Excellent communication with the owner.

Très sympathique maison, bien équipée et au coeur d'une bananeraie. Le plus, une petite piscine CHAUFFEE!!!, le moins une autoroute que l'on distingue au loin et que l'on entend un peu. Les propriétaires sont charmants et reactifs au moindre problème prproblème

Great Finca close to lots to do

Pilar and her husband are kind and considerate hosts. Pilar gave me a wealth of information and tips before we came. The Finca is well positioned to explore the amazing mountainous north and interior, whilst easy roads connect South and close to Las Palmas. The house is beautiful with a hot shower and access to your very own banana plantation which felt very special. There is a rooftop to sit on and outside dining area. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Our children loved the pool which is heated, so even on cloudy days was well used! We would not hesitate to recommend, we had a great holiday.

La bananeraie paradis

Emplacement idéal pour visiter le nord de la Grande Canarie. On a l'impression d'être seuls dans le quartier, entourés par la bananeraie qui nous est ouverte et dont la visite a été assurée par Pilar. La maison est parfaite et l'extérieur nous offre tous les lieux nécessaires pour nous détendre : piscine, terrasse, salon ouvert, salon fermé, salle de sport, etc. Autant dire qu'on peut choisir entre rester et sortir. Juan Antonio nous a accueillis à l'arrivée, il est aussi gentil que Pilar. Nous recommandons chaudement cet hébergement.

Urlaub mit Freunden in Gran Canaria

Wir haben in der Wohnung eine gute Zeit verbracht. Die Wohnung hat 3 Schlafzimmer mit je zwei Doppelbetten, die Zimmer waren genau wie auf den Bildern und für so einen Urlaub optimal. Auch die Küche hatte alles was man braucht. Bad war ebenfalls gut, eine zweite Dusche wäre noch super gewesen aber ansonsten alles top (Für das zweite Klo gab es allerdings keinen Schlüssel). Auch die Bananenplantage mit dem kleinen Hund als Bewacher war sehr interessant und hat uns allen gut gefallen. Fitnessraum wurde von uns ebenfalls genutzt, da wir ein kleines Tischtennis-Turnier veranstaltet haben. Die Besitzerin ist super freundlich und sehr nett. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Urlaub!!!

Beautiful place to relax with the family

This place is a little jewel, glad to have discovered it with our family and 4 months old little one. Pilar and Juan are very careful and responsive, they've prepared everything with great care and kept us informed about the ever changing Covid circumstances. It's only a pity the weather was not really up to our expectations thanks to an Atlantic storm, but we still enjoyed the heated pool as often as we could :)

Awesome Finca

We were staying at this beautiful Finca with 6 Persons - 4 adults and two childrend an we did have an awesome time there. You can find everything you need there to have an enjoyable vacation. You have a full equipped kitchen with a dish washer, a washing machine, a fridge and everything else you're probably used from your own home.n You have a roof top, a BBQ place and a separate living room with a lot of toys for your children and every bedroom and the living room has a TV and as well there is the heatend pool and you are totally on your own there it is a nice an quiet place to stay but we recommend a rental car. One more thing to mention you get Papaya, bananas and eggs everyday from Salvador who is working at the banana plantage and if you have any problems or if you just want to order a pizza Pilar is always there for you. We haven't missed a thing during our vacation and are definitely thinking about coming back one day. KEEP IT GOING Pilar :)

Lovely family home !

We spent 12 days in Finca La Esperanza with 2 adults and 2 children. It is a lovely home, with absolutely everything you need! A lot of space, inside and outside. High standard of finishing in all the rooms and very nicely decorated. Nice outdoor diner area with BBQ. Lovely pool for the kids to enjoy. Sunny roof terrace with views on the sea and Las Palmas. Also good location; close to main road and only a few minutes from a big store and a nice local beach. But at the same time very quite location, no neighbouring sounds, just peaceful. And thank you Pilar for the warm contact and the nice restaurant tips, they were great !! We can only recommend this home ! Ilse from Belgium

Lovely villa in a unique place

We were a group of seven with three children aged 8 to 15 years. We visited the villa in October 2016. Pilar and her family were very helpful and nice people! The banana plantation surrounding the villa was exciting! There were 3 bedrooms side by side with limited privacy. The kitchen was well equipped. Decoration of the villa and the pool were as good as in the pictures. High walls surrounded the villa and the plantation so you can spend the time without disturbances. The sounds of the highway can be heard only on top of the building where you can find nice views to the sea on the patio. A car is a must.

Traditional charm in perfect tranquility

Pilar and her husband have created a wonderfully traditional villa with all modern conveniences. Uncluttered, clean, spacious and welcoming. We loved having cocktails on the terrace while the sunset, splashing around in the pool to cool off, collecting eggs, avocados and bananas for lunch and cooking an awesome BBQ. Pilar and her husband were very helpful even booking us taxis on their wedding anniversary! We had a 4 month old baby an everything was organized so it was very easy - heated pool, baby cot and sheets, microwave.... The villa is close to the pretty town of arucas with a beautiful cathedral and rum distillery. We were also a short drive from the beach and the world heritage listed town near las palmas. Great holiday for family as there was plenty of space and things to do. We would love to go back!

Unos días inolvidables

La Finca La Esperanza es un lugar ideal para descansar, pero también para pasarlo bien. Está en un lugar tranquilo, entre plataneras, que la hace particular; pero, al mismo tiempo, está muy cerca de la capital (a 10 minutos en coche, apenas) y de otros sitios atractivos, lo que le da una localización ideal. La casa tiene un diseño precioso y no le falta detalle; está COMPLETAMENTE adaptada para minusválidos (algo que no he visto ni en muchos hoteles, vamos) y tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar (utensilios de cocina, sábanas, mantas, juguetes para niños... ¡Todo!). El trato de los propietarios, maravilloso; y el poder pasar esos días también con nuestra mascota, no tiene precio. Aconsejable 100%; nosotros, si podemos, repetiremos sin duda. Yo soy de Tenerife, mi marido de Gran Canaria y nos gusta bastante ir de hotel y viajar; y hemos estado así de a gusto en muy pocos sitios. Gracias de nuevo a Pilar por el trato y por darnos la oportunidad de disfrutar de este sitio tan especial.

Una casa maravillosa en un entorno muy bonito

Estábamos buscando un lugar especial para unas mini vacaciones con mi mujer que tiene paraplejia y está en silla de ruedas. Nos fue muy difícil encontrar un lugar bonito y apropiado hasta que encontramos La Esperanza. Pasamos unos días maravillosos, la casa está muy bien equipada, con una bonita decoración pero sobretodo muy bien adaptada a las necesidades de mi mujer, ya que es totalmente accesible. Además gracias a la silla hidráulica se pudo bañar en la piscina. La terraza es muy amplia y cómoda y da el sol la mayor parte del día. El lugar es muy tranquilo y el entorno muy agradable y pintoresco, rodeado por una gran plantación de plataneras lo cual le da un toque muy exótico y evocador. La casa es muy amplia y tiene muchos rincones con encanto. En la terraza hay un gran solarium con bellas vistas al mar y la finca de plataneras circundante. Al atardecer las puestas de sol son muy bonitas. Ya estamos pensando en volver el próximo año.

Very relaxing stay - highly recommend Finca la Esperanza

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Finca la Esperanza. The villa was immaculate and has recently been renovated to a very high standard. It is situated in the north of the island, within a banana plantation, a very peaceful setting although with easy access to main road so Gran Canara was easy to explore. A car is essential when staying in this villa. There is off street parking in the yard area at the side of the villa. The largest part of the villa includes the bathroom, kitchen, indoor dining area, a sitting area and three twin bedded bedrooms. The kitchen contained a fridge freezer, dishwasher, 4 ring hob, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, juicer, kettle and a washing machine. There was every cooking utensil imaginable in the kitchen. No oven but this was not an issue as we used the hob, microwave and barbecue if we needed to cook food. Our bedrooms had televisions with built in DVD players which played region 2 DVDs (British/European). Detached from this building there is a large sitting area with tv and many children's toys. Great if some of your party want to stay up later than others and so not disturb those whose want to go to bed. There is an outside dining / cooking space which contains a barbecue and sink area with work tops. Beneath the main building there is a gym with some equipment and a table tennis table. There is a sun deck on the roof of the villa which has sunbeds, sun shades and a sitting area. This is accessed by steps. The views from this area are fantastic - over the banana plantation to the sea, las Palmas, the hills inland and we could even see Tenerife. The pool is a decent size and not too deep - a depth of 1.2metres. The owners of the villa were extremely friendly and helpful. Any query we had was dealt with immediately - excellent communication with fantastic English. They welcomed us to the villa and the island and gave us lots of information about places to go and things to do. Pilar gave us a guided tour of the banana plantation which was fascinating. It was wonderful to experience them harvesting the bananas during our stay. There is a great video on YouTube of Finca la Esperanza. We had a fantastic time in Gran Canaria and were sad to say goodbye to Pilar, Juan, their family and Finca la Esperanza. Should we ever return to Gran Canaria we would definitely stay here again. We wish Pilar and Juan all the best and thank them for making our stay in Gran Canaria a fantastic family holiday.

Una maravilla frente al mar

Solo puedo calificar nuestra estancia como maravillosa. Mi familia ha disfrutado de unos dias de sol y tranquilidad en un entorno excepcional. La finca de plataneras es preciosa, la casa es una maravilla y sus anfitriones Juan y Pilar, encantadores, pendientes de nuestras necesidades. Nos recomendaron un sinfin de sitios para visitar, cosa que agradecimos. En fin, todo fantástico, sin duda, repetiremos.
