Inside, the home is full of character — spacious but cosy. The lounge centres on a traditional wood-burner, with plenty of dry wood on hand for cold, clear nights. In summer, open the doors onto the two decks and let the breeze flow right through. A dining table sits in a corner of windows framing the mountains, and the galley kitchen is superbly equipped — everything you need and then some.

Upstairs, the master bedroom with its ensuite sits at the opposite end of the home to two further bedrooms, so everyone keeps their own sense of space. Downstairs, a fourth bedroom with its own bathroom and private entrance is perfect for grandparents, teenagers or a second couple who`d like a little independence.
