GREAT, SPACIOUS AND RELAXING

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa with ample room and everything had been thought about. A few minor issues with one toilet and a dirty hot tub but other than that more than value for the money

Lovely Villa

Had a wonderful 5 week stay at this villa July 2024-Augusy 2024. The villa was clean and tidy, the pool area is wonderful! We had a few things that needed attending to but these were all sorted quickly and the host/host family were friendly and helpful!

Spent a month here

Home was great for family. The location was wonderful for being in the south yet away from the more tourist areas. The owner’s sons were very sweet and responsive to any concerns we had. Best sunset we have ever seen at nearby Bahia Beach so don’t miss that.

Door de 2 appartementen konden opa en oma aparte en het jongste stel zonder kinderen. Het grote huis was voor het jonge gezinnetje. Zwembad en jacuzzi was echt geweldig. De accommodatie is wel wat gedateerd en heeft wel hier en daar een upgrade nodig. De matrassen zijn echt aan vervanging toe. Dat was echt wel een minpuntje. De accommodatie ligt op een heerlijk rustige locatie. Wij hebben enorm genoten.

Vacances entre amis

Très bonne semaine dans la villa, très bien équipée et pratique, l’île est superbe pour rando/volcan/plage. La maison est situé dans un village très calme, avec des voisins aux alentours. Pour profiter de restaurants/bars/vie nocturne il faut se déplacer en voiture vers les autres villes.

Great location, well equipped large Villa with good facilities.

Had a few issues on arrival which were rectified. Was listed as wheelchair friendly which unfortunately it wasn’t but have been assured that this will be removed from the listing. None of this distracted from a great stay though.

Einiges einfach geflickt zB morsche holzlatten beim wirlpool war einfsch ein teppich rüber. Hatte mich dabei verletzt nachdem ich durchgebrochen bin. Das Freitagbett oben ist mit Styropor und schrauben nur die Fassade gerichtet... der rest ist super, sehr angenehm und günstige Restaurants. Zu Fuß zum meer ist gut aber kein Strand

Wonderful family holiday

The villa was absolutely ideal for our family of 14 (with an age range of 4 to 76!) and had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The decor was tasteful and immaculately clean. It was wonderful to be able to walk to local, excellent restaurants, the supermarket and the beach, although much of our time was spent in and around the pool where there was sufficient seating for all of us. The long dining tables meant that we were all able to eat together. The table tennis table was an added bonus. Communication with the owners was easy; they were very helpful and concerned that everything was in order for us. We couldn’t have wished for a better holiday.

Great location but needs some TLC!

The villa is located in Palm Mar and was close to restaurants, shops, bars and the small local beach. Great location for the family and really convenient for everything that we needed. The facilities and space at the accommodation were good - pool and hot tub, well equipped kitchen and utility area and good spaces to congregate as a family. Unfortunately the villa needs a bit of love and attention - there was significant damp in the bedroom with bunk beds that smelt dreadful, the outdoor furniture is stained and worn and the upstairs seating area was filthy. We ended up buying cleaning products to clean the seats ourselves and had to wash the cover for the day bed as it was dirty to the point of being unusable. We had a lovely holiday and would return to the area, but it was a shame that the accommodation had become a bit tired.

Luxury Villa?- not quite.

We had 3 requirements when booking our villa 4 bedrooms, pool and a hot tub, so were extremely disappointed on arrived to find that the hot tub was not working. Chantal's arranged for her son to come to check it and we were told 'it was very old and was now completely dead and to contact his mum to arrange some compensation'. We did, to have the unhelpful response of 'breakdowns happen, use the pool instead'. I explained that as we had paid for a hot tub, we did expect it to be working, but this just fell on deaf ears. It was unhelpful and frustrating. On arrival there was also a live socket, with wires exposed, pulled out of the wall that took several days to repair- - luckily, we had no children in our group - not sure how the property got sign off with in this state. The villa had lots of nice thing like space to spread out, main house plus 2 separate self contained blocks, nice eating area and nice pool, the washing machine was great. Not so nice was the day bed, of which looked like the cover hadn't been washed in weeks, the constant ant problem in the kitchen, luckliy we had been left ant spray to keep it under control, Wi-Fi didn't reach the sperate accommodation, crumbling plaster in one of the bedrooms and plaster repairs waiting to be sorted in the main house, the doorbell had paper towel stuffed into, i guess to stop it from constantly ringing, outside seating areas were badly stained with cushion covers threadbare, lights and sockets around the property that didn't work, broken table tennis bats - nothing major - but when all added up, not quite the luxury villa you think you are getting. It just needs some TLC. The villa is currently up for sale, so it just seems to be ticking over until sold. Palm Mar is a VERY QUIET area. There were no water sports here. There was a nice variety of restaurants and several small supermarkets. The beach is mainly rocky with a small sandy area, but not really suitable for small children. Best bring water shoes to save your feet! We did book taxi's into the main towns that cost around 15/20 euros each way plus tips. Although the villa can sleep 16, this is at a push. 10 adults max (with 2 on bottom bunk beds), the rest would be for small children. There are only 6 sunbeds (plus the manky day bed), so it would be the 'towels at dawn' race, although there were also a variety of other plastic chairs and beanbags for everyone else.

Host communication was excellent from the time of booking, swiftly answered all my questions and kept in touch regularly before our stay. Set up is great for families. 2 separate suites with full bathroom and kitchen off the pool side. The main house has 3 bedrooms, 2 en-suites and a main bathroom. Loved full set up kitchen, living and dining area. TV has every channel you could think of. WiFi worked well in the main house and parts of the garden but didn’t reach the 2 suites which was a little disappointing. All bedrooms have air con which was fantastic. Outside areas were great, plenty seating and pool floats for kids. The pool had a slight cracked bit of plastic at the bottom which we removed and didn’t cause anymore problems. Lights in pool didn’t seem to work though but not a problem for us as a group. Table tennis was good too.Outdoor seating and dining areas were great. BBQ was used every night and was fab. The roof top area could do with some TLC, couple lights not working and some floor uneven, but overall a great space. Hot tub was great and sunset views were amazing. The whole property feels very secure and was very good peace of mind for our group as we had young children with us. All locks are the same key which was helpful, we got 3 keys overall. Parking outside was free. Quiet area. Shop, restaurants, park and beach within walking distance. 20 minute drive to main town. We absolutely loved our time at this villa and would defo stay again. 2 weeks vacation with family

Overall we really enjoyed time spent in this villa. Everybody loved the pool and the outside area is excellent. If you are looking for a nice relaxed resort Palm Mar is the right place. We took a hike to Los Cristianos and really loved the walk. Chantal, the owner, was also very quick to answer all our requests when needed. Highly recommend.

10 night family break

Our family group of 10 stayed at the Villa for 10 nights and found the villa itself to be clean and of a generally high standard , the children loved the pool. We did experience a couple of small issues but a simple text to Chantal or Jennifer soon solved those. Palm Mar itself is a small and relatively quiet resort but there are still plenty of places to eat and drink . I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends.

Fantastic property in great location!

We had an amazing stay with Chantal at the property in Pal Mar, Located just 15minutes from the airport made it the perfect stay for our visit to Tenerife. The property had everything we needed for our week long stay including full kitchen facilities and amenities (including decent knifes, pans, ovenware, serving ware, chopping boards, containers, and utensils that are often missing from vacation rentals) hair dryer, laundry facilities, iron, kettles, toaster, dishwasher, safe and other amenities that made the stay a home from home! The property was cleaned to a high standard and had plenty of fresh towels and extra bedding should we have needed them. The host and on site contact was very easy to work with and very accommodating (thanks Cedric) and was on hand for any of our small questions we had ahead of our stay and during it. The location of the property was perfect; Pal Mar has a small Main Street less than 5 minutes walk away with several restaurants, bars, cafes, bank, supermarkets and medical centre amongst other facilities (nail salons, massage, real estate…etc) The beach is 2 blocks away and has a couple of snack bars and beach clubs. There are also several walking / running routes into the vast ‘country park’ landscape 500m away with fantastic views along the coast lines. The main towns of costa adeje, playa de las americas and Los Cristianos are only a 10 minute drive away for more Sandy beaches and restaurant options and with Siam mall less than 10 Minutes away for shopping had everything we wanted on the door step! We had a hire car that made it super easy to move around the south of the island and there was plenty of free parking right in front of the property and around the island. The pool area and hot tub terrace were well used during our stay and despite the high temperatures the pool heating was very welcome! In contrast, the individual air conditioning in each bedroom made it also very comfortable for rest times. The bathroom facilities were great with good powerful and hot showers and bathtub in the main house. Having the two individual units as well as the house also made it very easy to spread out for everyone to have their own space. Finally - the WiFi was great, and with 2 network meant we had full, fast connectivity across the whole property as well as lots of international TV channels available on the TV. Thank you for our stay, we look forward to returning again soon!

Excellent Villa

The property is excellent in a top class location. The manager (Cedric) was very helpful whenever needed. The only suggestions for improvement is for more cups / glasses to be provided and a mini tourist guide for reference.

Um es kurz zu sagen: Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt voll genossen. Der Abzug in der Gesamtbewertung von einem Stern resultiert auf der Tatsache, dass in einem Zimmer (Vierbettzimmer) ein Wasserschaden gewesen ist und die Wände austrocknen mussten und somit Wandabplatzungen und offene Wandbereiche zu sehen waren. Hier hätte ich mir eine Info im Vorfeld gewünscht, so dass man sich moralisch (in der Nutzung gab es keine Einschränkung) darauf hätte einstellen können. Aber ansonsten war alles super toll. Selbst als bei einem der Rollläden die Federn gerissen sind wurde dies sofort am nächsten Tag erledigt. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war auch super lieb und toll. Wir waren mit meinen Eltern und den Familien meiner beiden Brüder (also 8 Erwachsene, drei Jugendliche (15,15 und 14) und zwei Kindern (5+3 Jahren) für 8 Tage dort um die Geburtsage meiner Eltern zu feiern. Das Haus hatte alles was man benötigt (Grill, Tischtennisplatte, schöner und sauberer Pool, ausreichend Pfannen und Toöpfe, Besteck, etc.). Aufgrund der Gestaltung des Hauses war es auch für jeden möglich sich mal zurückzuziehen, was bei einer Konstellation wie wir es waren hilfreich sein kann. Die Bilder entsprechen 1:1 dem vor Ort angetroffenen. Wenn man überhaupt ein Manko beschreiben müsste, dann wäre dies eventuell das Vierbettzimmer wie oben beschrieben und die Tatsache, dass dieses Zimmer für vier Personen doch relativ klein ist und der Schrank auch zu knap ist für vier Personen. Alle anderen Zimmer aber waren absolut top und wir werden, wenn wir nochmal in einer ähnlichen Gruppengröße sind und auch Teneriffa als Ziel ins Auge gefasst werden sollte, diese Unterkunft definitiv mit anfragen. Zum Strand in der Nähe können wir nichts sagen, da wir mit dem Auto immer andere Strände aufgesucht haben.
