Beautiful New Cabin at Bridges Bay Resort Cabin #245

  • Beautifully furnished 3-bedroom plus loft, 2-bathroom cabin with heated garage/rec room at the Bridges Bay Resort in Arnolds Park, Iowa. Under new ownership, August 2020. Family owned. We take pride in keeping our cabin clean and up to date.

    Spacious cabin with a back patio for relaxing and grilling out! This cabin is newer and provides enough room to sleep 15 people. We have added yard games, fire pit, pool floaties, and board games for the guests' enjoyment. Also, enjoy six free waterpark passes daily to the indoor waterpark. (When it is open) You can also access the new outdoor lagoon pool (remodeled in 2020) featuring the area's only swim up pool bar. You are just steps away from Bracco, Waterfront Cafe, Island Bar, Water's Edge Grill, Blue Water Flatbread Pizza Company, and the Waterfront Wedding and Event Center. Access is provided to all the amenities at the Bridges Bay Resort.

    Items in the cabin include:
    • Coffee maker and fillers. Coffee not provided toaster, air fryer, griddle, and crock pot
    • Plates, glasses, utensils, silverware, wine opener, pots, and pans
    • Kitchen and bath towels
    • Grill gas. Propane provided.
    • Washer and dryer with laundry detergent
    • Televisions (with Amazon fire stick, Amazon prime video, Disney+, and YouTube TV)
    • Wi-Fi
    • Pack N Play
    • 2 Twin Air Mattress with pump
    • 6 Waterpark Passes when it is open
    • Arcade Access at Bridges Bay
    • Fitness Center Access at Brides Bay
    • Dishwasher
    • Board games and yard games
    • Fire pit with roasting sticks. Firewood is not included. Only burn wood. Don’t put cans in the fire.
    • Garage/Rec room with TV, hater, game table, L couch, high top table, and full-size refrigerator


    PLEASE NOTE: The cabin will be fully stocked with supplies based on number of registered guests and length of stay. If this is inadequate, you will need to provide your own. There will be dish and hand soap, paper towels, bathroom and kitchen towels, and garbage bags. You will need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner and body wash as these are NOT provided.

    Come relax and have a great vacation on the lake!!

    *4-night minimum night stay on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
    *7-night minimum night stay over 4th of July
    *No parties. Including bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Great cabin to stay at. Fit our needs because we have grown children and not little ones that needed big beds. The garage area is a bonus. Lots of fun drinking coffee in the mornings and a drink in the evenings out there. Lots of games to play when it rains. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Beautiful, Fun place for family!

As a grandma, I wanted a special place to vacation with kids and grands. This was the place! Beautiful, roomy and stocked with everything we could need including toys and games. Thank you for allowing us a wonderful resting place while we enjoyed Okoboji!

Great house for families with kids

WONDERFUL family space!!!

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! If you are looking for a great place for a family to spend quality time - this is a great spot! Our family has teens & toddlers and we were able to make use of every area of this house. The family space in the garage was AWESOME for lots of fun family time!

Great Family Cabin

Had a great time with our family! 10 of us with grandparents, parents, and 4 kids. Perfect sleeping arrangement, toys and activities for the kids, great hangout room! Close to the pool and access to the waterpark. The only issue we had was fruit flies in the dowstairs bathroom that were there when we got there. Thank you for a great place to stay!

Perfect for a group

LOTS of room to spread out in this cabin. The garage that’s converted into a rec area (including a big screen TV) is nice. Lots of beds. Just like you see it in the listing and great/fast communication.

Birthday at the Cabin

My children, grandchild, and I had a great stay at the Cabin we rented in Bridges Bay. The kitchen was well-equipped. There were ample pillows and blankets. The streaming access worked well. Bridges Bay has a wonderful waterpark and is boating access. We appreciated having a second refrigerator in the garage converted into rec room.

Most everything was great but…

Most everything was great-the host was wonderful! She responded quickly to my questions and emails. The check-in process was easy. We really enjoyed the extra room that the renovated space in the garage provided. Having two refrigerators with freezers was really nice. Everything about our stay was great, but I would strongly suggest the host finds a better cleaning crew. The cabin was not very clean in more than one area.

Family Reunion

This property was perfect. The garage was fantastic for the teens to play their games when the adults went to bed and it was sound proof! Couldn’t hear them at all inside. Plenty of beds for everyone (just note if your taller than 5’9 you will mostly hang off most of the beds) I would recommend putting black out blinds in the bedroom downstairs with the king bed. Lots of cars from other cabins close by leaving late at night and the lights shined right in that room.

We’re no strangers to the Bridges Bay/Boji area. We come up every year with our family. This property was in a good location with a nice layout however there’s definitely opportunities. There were only two rolls of toilet paper in the entire condo for 6 adults and 3 children above 3 y/o. One roll of paper towels. No propane to grill. No laundry detergent. We expected there to be some (as listed) but had to run out on the very first day for basic supplies. Bath towels were stale and smelly. Toenail in the corner of the living room. Linens were damp. Furniture was pretty worn and there were several holes in the wall and gaps in the floor. You couldn’t lock the patio door. You use a piece of wood to secure the door. We’ve definitely stayed at better condos/cabins at Bridges Bay. In comparison to the other places we’ve stayed at this by far had the most opportunities..

The hangout room was extra special and great to have that all ages can enjoy!

Proximity to amenities was good.

We had alot of fun at Okoboji 2021. Kids are of age to stay all day at park and we did several days!! House was perfect for our eating/sleeping needs. Bonus was we knew neighbors! Will definitely book okoboji again!! Thanks to Kim for everything...

Great property - owners need to stay on top of tv/WiFi functionality

The home and location were great. Beds comfortable. Plenty of towels. Overall enjoyable. Cons - The listing states that it has YouTube tv, Amazon prime, Hulu and a DVD player. The Amazon Prime worked. YouTube tv, Hulu and DVD - not. Youtube TV didn’t pop up on the Home Screen, searching took us to it and we even tried to sign into my home YTTV account and it kept bouncing back to log in. Also reset the WiFi to see if that would help with the tv. We called the owners and they said they’d look at it over the weekend. We were leaving onFriday. Solutions - include instructions with some details for accessing the YouTube TV, Hulu and resetting the WiFi in the garage. Get rid of the DVD player or replace it.

Beautiful home with lots of personal charm

Beautiful well kept home with so many extra amenities provided. Kimberly was a wonderful host and we would definitely stay again (and hopefully then Bridges Bay has their staffing and maintenance issues resolved)

Family reunion

Excellent experience. Only one suggestion for the resort itself. We rented 2 houses that were not near each other. It would be nice to have the option for golf cart rental on the resort due to the limited parking for larger groups.

Fabulous fun property

Fabulous property located in the perfect spot - close to the hub of Arnold’s Park but yet just far enough away for quiet and relaxing sleep. Access to the lake was perfect and the kids thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hanging in the “lounge” playing cards and games, swimming and of course the water park. Can’t wait to come back!
