Tranquil getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed this cabin and will book again! It is beautiful and cozy. That said, we have older teenage children and the bunk beds were not super comfortable for them - as expected. The power went out when we were there and the generator would not start. A little disappointing but not enough to deter us from staying again. Overall the stay was amazing. Thank you for the lovely hospitality. The cabin was decorated for the holidays and there was a gift for us.

Perfect winter cabin

Beautifully remodeled and well appointed home. It was cozy, beautiful and relaxing with all the amenities needed to stay in and cook a family meal after a day on the slopes.

Beautiful Autumn Getaway

Quiet and tranquil as described yet near to parks and towns of gold country. Comfortable and well maintained property with many extra features to bring the feel and warmth of home. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for our cousins weekend getaway. We had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. The property manager was very responsive with any questions that we had. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us.

Home away from home

Our family of four had a wonderful stay. The hosts considered every type of guest. There were board games, high chairs, snow gear, and a fully stocked kitchen. The check in and check out process was easy. We hope to return later this year.

Terrific and Tranquil

The most amazing girlfriend’s getaway weekend. Not a single detail was missed in this home. The decor, amenities, location and superior host accessibility made our stay perfect. We all agreed that we will be booking again.

Cozy experience

It was a comfortable and cozy stay. Everything was clean and nicely displayed. Check in and out was easily accessible and the Rosen family where friendly and communicative. It was also nice they provided plenty of snow gear to utilize. It also was a nice location, where nearest town and food was a 15 min drive away!

We so loved our time at your beautiful cabin. We loved how quiet and peaceful the area was and the amazing outdoor spaces. So grateful for the wonderful air conditioning since it was so hot. The bedrooms and bathrooms were so well done. We loved the living room and the great big windows. Thanks again for being a fantastic host.

From a well-stocked kitchen, to kids toys, to lake toys, there’s really nothing this home doesn’t have.With a three year old, we spent most days in the pool at Big Trees Recreation, but also loved a visit to Big Trees State Park, Lake Alpine, Murphys shopping, and the Arnold Arts and Crafts Fair.As much as there is to do, I’d still be perfectly happy reading my book on the deck or enjoying wine around the fire pit. If you like comfort and nice finishes over rustic, you’ll love Tranquility Lodge.

Fantastic Stay

This home was perfect in all ways. We had three adults and a two year old. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and has absolutely everything you need/want. In fact, we wanted to extend our stay, but it was already rented. Spotless, beautifully appointed. Loved it.

Excellent cabin. Excellent service.

We’ve been renting cabins in the Arnold area for nearly 20 years. This has been our best find yet!The cabin is absolutely perfect. The Christmas decor was a very pleasant surprise. Kids loved the bunk beds and the loft. There are plenty of games available, snow toys, and everything else you might need. The location is beautiful, the deck in the back gorgeous and the super tall swing was the cherry on top. We would love to come back.

Mountain Getaway

We loved our stay at this property and really enjoyed our time here. It it lovely annd comfortable indoors and out and very well equipped. We loved the fire pit for morning coffee and evening time together and my college age boys loved the ping pong table too. The neighborhood was secluded and serene. Only bummer was that Big Trees State Park planned a controlled burn which made for a smoky day outdoors toward the end of our stay.

Loved Loved Loved

We all enjoyed our stay at Tranquility. The place was spotless, everything was updated very nicely, and the surroundings were peaceful and quiet. The ONLY consideration for us not to go back with the Littles is the steep stairs up to the bunkbeds. IMO, the loft area is perfect for preteens/teens. Other than that, we highly recommend this cabin!!

Gorgeous home in the trees

We had a fantastic stay at Tranquility Lodge. Check in and check out were super easy, and the house is gorgeous and comfortable. You can tell that a lot of care was put into upgrading the house. There's still a very comfortable mountain vibe but also luxury touches throughout. Having a/c in the summer made sure we were comfortable at all times. Our group of adults were in town for a nearby wedding but we could easily envision a winter getaway, too. We would absolutely book this place again.

It is tastefully decorated, modern, yet charming with a well-equiped kitchen. We especially loved spending time by the deck firepit enjoying a glass of wine and the peaceful surroundings. The beds were very comfortable, and the master bathroom was great. The lodge is centrally located with a 15-to-20-minute drive to Bear Valley Resort, or shopping in Arnold, and other attractions. We hope to return in the future and highly recommend this lodge.

Well equipped home

I travel alot for work and this is by far the best equipped and organized home I’ve stayed in. It’s beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything you need for a perfect stay. It’s also nice that every light switch is labeled. lol it takes the guesswork out figuring out what lights work with what switch. The only thing that was a surprise is that the twin beds only hold 150 pounds and were too short and small for my 6’ son and my 5’7” daughter barely made the cut. I felt bad for my kids that I didn’t know this information. The deck is amazing and we spent most meals outside. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay

Well Appointed Cabin with Family-Friendly Amenities

This cabin is as beautiful as it looks in the photos! Our family and our in-laws enjoyed our stay in the comfortable and luxurious accommodations. Kids aged 9 - 17 enjoyed the bunk room but had to be careful with the ladder up (as did us adults making sure everyone was going to sleep!). Each room in the cabin was a joy to be in - pleasing to the eye and meeting every need. The kitchen had everything, which is so nice and rare in a rental. The deck was so pleasant to spend warm evenings on and the outdoor fire pit/table was a crowd-pleaser. We appreciated and enjoyed all the amenities! The staff at the neighborhood pool made a point to remember our names. The kids (and adults) enjoyed innertube water polo, pickle ball, tennis, and movie night - it far exceeded expectations! We will definitely be back!

The Perfect, Welcoming Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The second we stepped into this beautiful cabin, we couldn’t stop smiling! You feel the coziness all around you. Every detail was thoughtful and so pleasing to the eye. It was spotless! The bedrooms were so comfortable and had a romantic feel about them. The bathrooms were very spacious and very custom. The master bath has a giant stand alone tub and a fireplace that heats up the room nicely. The kitchen had everything you would need and was fully custom. Plenty of space to bring your own groceries and cook on the beautiful gas stove. My favorite place was the family room, though! The fireplace makes a huge statement and the views from the room are gorgeous! Luckily we were there when it was cold enough to use the fireplace. We never wanted to leave that room! The owners were SO thoughtful, they even have a State Park Pass you can borrow. We used it for Calaveras Big Trees State Park. That is a must see! We went to Murphy’s twice and shopped around Arnold. This is a very charming area and where the cabin is located, it is so quiet and we took walks every day in that great smelling mountain air. I’d like to come back when it’s a little warmer so we could take advantage of the spacious deck and fire pit. And to top it all off, they leave you a gift to remember your stay! We can’t wait to go back!!
